I lived. nyah nyah nyah! I'm only putting the blame partly on these psychodelic pages! lol hello ((free)) what ya doing in the hospital hope your feeling better Well, so much for me feeling like I was stress-free. lol Major heart attack Sunday. The head cardiologist said that he had never seen anyone in such bad shape live. Either of the 2 should have killed me. And he's was one old guy. They had the entire cardiac crew in there and nobody sees how I lived. Guess I wanted to...for some reason. Got 2 stents in Right Coronary artery for 100 and 90% blockages Sunday and got 2 more yesterday in Left anterior descending for..again..100 and 90% blockages. My BP AFTER the first set of stents was 85/55. I dont think thats good. But I feel fine now. A bit tired and hurting like hell where they gave me heart caths in my femoral artery ...twice. Feels like they missed and put a square needle in my right nut instead. lol I have been feeling GREAT and always do a lot of hard work...so this came as a BIG surprise. Just a little numbness in my fingers from time to time over the last few years. So GET CHECKED. The fire department saved my life, no doubt. But...I'm still smiling!! (see photo) Taken after first stents, before last 2. |

Saw this twice already this morning -- profile pic of 2 or more people, and they NEVER tell you which one the profile belongs to.... Why do people do this? (OK, I'm hoping this counts as one of my mandatory "whiny threads" for the day. Only 65 more to go!) The really unattractive one is her. lol |

With the possibility of drug money exchanging hands in an airport they have every right to detain him and ask where the large sum of money came from and what its intended use is. I don't like the way they handled it, but you generally don't see people walking around with a box full of cash in the airport. Next time they should do like every other normal person would do and take it to a bank and deposit it into an account that belonged to the political affiliation he is representing. But yes, they treated him poorly looked very unprofessional. so much for Amendment 4 - Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. --------- when the rights of you or one of your friends or loved ones are violated we will see how you like (you is used as generic term) hear hear You can sure tell who the cops are on this thread. Thats the guy saying that "they have every right"...when they clearly do NOT. Probable cause for a search, even on ones person, has been clearly defined time and time again as "information from a reliable source that a crime has or will be committed that would have been sufficient to obtain a warrant if put before a judge" Stupid police. Its us and them. |

The last landlord I had was a committee. I bought a condo in NYC and there were like WAY too many rules. BOUGHT, not rented. Same color of blinds as everyone, same paint on the balcony, one car in only one spot, on and on. I had to park my bike inside cause they didn't like it on my porch. Seriously.
The lady upstairs had me called into a "committee meeting" about my dog, who she said barked all day when I was at work. I figured it could be true so agreed to just give the dog away. Trying to be a good neighbor. THEN, after I say that, the b!+ch says, "and theres a bird in there too that chirps all day long!". Serious. I had a tiny tiny little cocateil (sp?). Sold the condo and moved to freaking New Jersey! Before then and since then I own a HOUSE on some land where if a neighbor is close enough to hear me, they're close enough to shoot for trespassing. |

Maybe Lex or Mr_Music would like to offer up their services?! People have asked me to help them with their profiles. But then they always say, "I don't want it to be 1400 pages long, though." Which completely baffles me. How can you write a good profile in less than 1400 pages....?? hahaha GOOD question! |

"Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy."
(Dale Carnegie) "Keep your fears to yourself; share your courage with others." (Robert Louis Stevenson) ..and finally... "People fear death even more than pain. It's strange that they fear death. Life hurts a lot more than death. At the point of death, the pain is over." (Jim Morrison) Yeah, The Doors guy. |

I met a 20 something girl in a cafe. Told her "I wish I was 10 seconds younger". "10 SECONDS!?" "Yeah, because 10 seconds ago, before you turned around, I thought you were old enough to f**k". It was just being funny, which I am guilty of way too often, (in my own mind anyway) but we're still great friends to this day. LOL thats a good one!!! Hello, my only support on here!!!! lol Generally speaking, ya gotta know me to love me....but you only have to NOT have a stick up your a$$ to get a laugh from me. |

I never run, just find a more advantageous position. Theres a certain psychological advantage to returning fire, or even facing your fears...especially if they breathe. Cause if it breathes, it can die.
That may not be GREAT advice though, I have been shot a few times. OK, so maybe more than a few. (7) But I think running would have hurt me worse. |
