I have the greatest, most laid back landlord. My roommate is constantly late with the rent. Sometimes, I will knock on my landlords door and he doesn't answer. Cheers to my landlord.

I have a roommate out of necessity. If I could afford my own apartment I would be on my own. Rents are too high where I live.

They are here as well. But I will just keep doing it.

It is hit or miss. I had a roommate in college and we are still close friends.

The last landlord I had was a committee. I bought a condo in NYC and there were like WAY too many rules. BOUGHT, not rented. Same color of blinds as everyone, same paint on the balcony, one car in only one spot, on and on. I had to park my bike inside cause they didn't like it on my porch. Seriously.

The lady upstairs had me called into a "committee meeting" about my dog, who she said barked all day when I was at work. I figured it could be true so agreed to just give the dog away. Trying to be a good neighbor. THEN, after I say that, the b!+ch says, "and theres a bird in there too that chirps all day long!". Serious. I had a tiny tiny little cocateil (sp?). Sold the condo and moved to freaking New Jersey! Before then and since then I own a HOUSE on some land where if a neighbor is close enough to hear me, they're close enough to shoot for trespassing.
