hmm, alot of vets families glad to have their TORTURED loved ones still alive though. I dont agree with intentional killing unless injuring is not an option. I do think police have a difficult job and should be given better training to handle it. If the families were so loving and caring why was the poor bastard home less and off his meds . I don't like seeing veterans homeless and I am not related to any of them . When the government turns there back on them it makes me very mad . Because I know the money they save by screwing the vets just goes to people who hasn't done any thing for the benefit of the country . |

Where did our American pride go? Even ones against Obama, he IS still our president. He IS still part of America. Regardless of whether you agree or not, how about a little support? He was so right when he said we're so busy opposing sides that we forget to look at the big picture. Obama may be our President but to many people he is just a unqualified Socialist who got elected because of his skin color,refuses to show his birth certificate and broke every promise he made to the American people during his campaign. Talk about opposing sides?Is she talking about how he locked the doors and Republicans out of the health care meetings.Blaming everyone else instead of taking responsiblity.Wanting to ban fox news.A recent poll said he has seperated the Republicans and Democrats more than any President in history.He doesn't care what the public has to say.Threatens people who don't buy health insurance with prison time. Obama is part of America alright.He will go down in history books as the worst President ever elected who's main accomplishment was dividing America,getting us in record debt,and blaming all of Americas problems on somebody other than the Democrats in control. |

i dont know if any of you have taken a civics course but if congress doesnt pass bills they can't become a law and it's hard to get laws when the opposition stonewalls and blocks legislation just because they don't like the other party and offer solutions. I realize that you come here from a place that has a jungle rules but in this country we have 3 branches of law givers . First congress passes the loop hole laws w holes big enough to drive semi. truck threw. 2. We have courts who write the laws as they see fit to do so . 3 . We have the executive branch who changes the law on a minute by minute periods and changes the law by not enforcing them . Or only enforcing them against people they don't like . So before you write about all you know you should remove your foot first . |

But in the end, the US continues down the road to continued government growth, increased debt, more intrusion into our personal lives, and more control by special interests. Some real help for this sad situation would be something like twelve year term limitations on all politicians and NO RETIREMENT PAY for congress. The job was never intended as a career. Americans have much of which to be proud, but Congress is not one of them. I agree. I think that is why he is proposing some serious change. We're just too afraid of change. What if it doesn't work? What if it makes things worse? At least this 'road' we continue down is something we're use to? Right? Honestly, I don't think changing things dramatically would be such a bad thing. Yes, he is. But the "Party of No" likes to get in the way of that policy. Just saying no because they can, I think Obama mentioned that last night. The bickering back and forth doesn't get the problems resolved any sooner, it just slows everything down. Right now, Americans need good jobs, better education, and affordable healthcare. The private sector cannot accomplish this alone, it needs a boost from careful government spending and new policies. Right now, many of the republicans have become fanatical, not coming up with any new ideas of their own to address these issues, just obstructing and slowing down the process of getting this country out of deficit, and slowing the process of creating more jobs for hard working Americans. I think the democrates did the same thing when gw bush was in . that part is just politics , always happens . but the bribes aren't. |

I agree 100% with this, but if I were a senator like say john Kerry and the banks offered me 19000000 dollars to screw the American people well you better get a can of grease ready because here I come . I lessened to the hot empty air, I felt stupid because I know it's as much my fault as any one else . We let these pigs in congress, and we keep sending them back year after year . When we should be putting them in prison along with all the other criminals . But we don't so I guess its going to be up to our grand children . I do wonder are you as stupid as they think ?
