if you are reacting to president obama's state of the union address, i must agree that he did not present a smooth or really coherent speech.

Just did you fail English too? It wasn't an insult because he/she didn't agree with it....they said they didn't understand it. It was direct and to the point unlike the King James Bible and all of the "well he could have said this but sounded like that" fairy tales.

LOL The problem isn't with your English. It's with the insinuations that anyone who thinks Obama just talks for the sake of hearing himself ( which seems to be the case at times ) must be " uneducated ". I didn't hear much of anything " to the point " in his State Of The Union speech either. What I heard was more " talking points " from him. He's a great orator, but most of the things he says have no real substance. The biggest example of that would be the Health Care debacle. He kept saying that HE wants to get it done, but I have yet to see any kind of plan come from HIM. Then, he complains that the Republicans " block " everything. Perhaps if he actually PROPOSED a plan of his own, he could get a little more cooperation. Not saying that WOULD be the case, but it would sure look a lot better for him. |
