I dont see why people cant just use evolution as a "vehicle" for god. It was how he went about creating life on this planet. Thats basically what the Catholics have adopted in their belief system. Whats wrong with that?

Sometimes I think a lot of people dont really know what they want. They know they want to be happy and fulfilled but they dont know specifically how they want to go about obtaining that goal. This applies to BOTH genders and I am not singling anyone out as the bad guy. Its a pervasive condition amongst humans.

That forum is boring and unengaging. Ive seen it once or twice when a Christian posted a proselytizing thread in GR and the mods moved it. If you have already posted on the thread then you can see it, wherever it gets moved. Their threads never even move up because no one posts in there. There is no warm flesh to convert.

I had one of these guy as a pet growing up. Jeremy maybe you have even seen them wild in Florida? I had a male and he did the little throat puff thing and he changed colors. They are called "Anoles" . One day my cat pounced on him and tore off his tail. He lived thank goodness and the tail grew back. It came back in not quite as thick and sturdy as his original and also spiked. But it did regenerate and rather quickly.

Deb cant we all just agree to disagree and respectfully just post our thoughts and opinions on these threads? Why do we need to segregate people and make them feel bad ? The "us against them" is only going to be destructive and the problem with that kind of mindset is it is pervasive. Other Christians will read that and join league and before you know it, everyone is angry and insulting one another. Yes we all have different ponderings and let it go at that. You also have to realize that we are going to supply evidence for macro evolution just as you are going to show us your evidence. We each will attempt to counter one another. That is the nature of debate but you should not take it as a personal criticism of self. When you watch a Discovery Show and the topic is Evolution, do you write to the cable company in complete outrage?

Small gifts are fun. Back when I was in a relationship I tried to do small gifts every so often. It does not have to be expensive. A pair of nice socks or something else they like.
