I have 3 children and I would not want them to get attached to a boyfriend with whom I was not seriously involved. It's not fair to children, especially when you are just dating. Now that you two are no longer together, she moves on to the next guy and introduces her children to a whole new boyfriend. How long does this continue? It's not healthy for kids to enter into these relationships with their parents.

Personally, I would have asked her to wait before spending too much time with the kids. A break-up can be more difficult on kids than the adults.

The law of attraction says what we think about and thank about, we bring about. Maybe you are thinking about these men too much and are attracting them into your life repeatedly exactly because you don't want them around. So think about the type of man you do want in your life and start attracting them into your world.

I was having a similar problem, only I was attracting "bad boys" over and over again. Then, when I really thought about it, even though I didn't want a long-term relationship with these bad boys, I did enjoy having fun with them. They made me live life differently for a little while. So I rode it out and when I was no longer having fun with it, they just sort of disappeared.

In a magazine poll I found online, women were more likely to say personality matters more while men were more inclined to admit that looks matter more. With anything, there are exceptions, of course.

I'm new to this on-line thing, but I would venture to guess that just as looks could be faked, so could personality. Someone may be more at ease typing flirtations into a computer than in a public, live setting. Plus, you have the benefit of editing and censoring your thoughts prior to posting.

My initial posting here was that looks mattered more, and I blamed it on being a 30-something-year-old woman who is driven by hormones a little more than I'd hope for. In all honesty, however, whether in a live setting or an online community, I am initially attracted to looks. I believe truly that most people are. We like looking at beautiful creatures of the opposite sex--all of us. Sometimes, that beauty can quickly dissolve if a horrible personality surfaces. And vice versa. Still yet, I'd admit that I've met some great men who were not very attractive physically with whom I did not pursue a relationship. Physical attraction and our own definition of beauty is part of what makes a love connection.

Love should advance beyond physical attraction, however. We all get old, wrinkled, and ugly physically. That's why we need to do our shopping early. :-)

I'm in the prime of my life, and when I see a hot guy walk by me or come up to me, some kinda something awful triggers this response throughout my whole body that just makes me want to

and for that, I say looks.

Catch me in a few years, and I am sure these hormones will have settled down a bit and I would most certainly answer differently.
