I'm kinda in the same situation, the divorce thingy, if my son did that to me, only invited me after the fact, I wouldn't go, I'd still love him like I know you do, but just to teach him a lesson, he will think about it on the day of the wedding and be sorry that he did not invite you, then he will say he's sorry, hopefully, and you will say, Son, it's ok, I was there in spirit, I love you still, we all make mistakes. I am having a conflict. My son, age 19, wants to attend Oaksterdam U. which is in Oakland Ca. It is a school for medicinal marijuana usuage and all that goes with it. I kinda would like to send him and help him, this seems to be the only thing he is really interested in, in an actual business way, medicinal pot is a very big field, and there are lots of avenues to have a legit career in this, however a part of me, thinks it is somehow not a good decision, what do you all think? even though in the end, I am going to do what I think. I might send him.
