I believe it is a great idea to live with someone before taking the plunge. That way you get to see who one another is for real, then decide if forever can work.

The problem with romance is that we all view it different. For example... if I enjoy sappy gestures.. I would want my guy to do them, but he wont.... because it's not his idea of romance. He might find it romantic to buy two tickets to a game in the front row and expect me to be excited because he is.
So there is no wrong or right. It is a matter of trying to understand their romance and showing it for them. |

I was with someone at one point who remembered everything and ...oh boy...was I in the dog house all the time. It seems most people find it important to remember these things. Maybe they take it as a statement that they are not important if forgotten. |
