If you were immortal what would you do with your life?
If you knew you had thousands of years to live.... what would you do? I would learn to play musical instruments, and paint like a master for start. |

that would suck.... in a thousand years, it would be a thousand times more boring... Gee I'm sorry. You could become a serial killer or an assassin. Maybe you would not be so bored. |

No fun if I out live the people I love.
It would be cool in a way. You can try different jobs and travel around to more places. Would be able to earn enough money to build me a home on the moon. |

I love all of my cats but I am hoping to out live them.
I tell all my sisters that I will out live them all. And I will. I outlived my X-husband and my Brother so far. In fact I had a bet with my Brother who was 20 years younger than me that I would out live him. Of course that is a bet you can't really collect. Next time I bet with someone, I will make sure we put the money in a safety deposit box for the winner. Hey we are all going to die. |

With 1000 years I could do everything, several times.

With 1000 years I could do everything, several times. I doubt it. |

With 1000 years I could do everything, several times. I doubt it. I don't. The more education you have, the less you need to change occupations. For example, if you first wanted to be a doctor you'd have all that info and if you later wanted to switch to biology, you really wouldn't have to learn much other than what you already know compared to someone starting out fresh. I think it would be easy to learn everything humans know in 1000 years. |

If you were immortal what would you do with your life? If you knew you had thousands of years to live.... what would you do? I would learn to play musical instruments, and paint like a master for start. That would do for starters, then I'd be off to Mars to explore the ruins that were photographed there...then perfect a Time Machine... |

probably find people who need me to help them, make them smile and feel loved, But it would be painful watching everyone you cared about grow old and die.

So many things to do... Forever to do them in... I'd probably buy a cabin in the Drakensburg mountains, with a big fire place and a shotgun by the door. I'd spend my days writing and when there are no words, visiting my neighbours, the mountains. Once in a while, I'd get into my old white bakkie (pick-up truck for the rest of the world) and drive into town to see how much of life has passed me by. And then I'd retreat back into my little cabin, where everything stays the same.
