That's not really what your profile says.

But on topic; they can be awkward. She might want to keep it secret for various reasons and you might have to do a bit of sneaking out of back doors and that sort of thing. Don't kid yourself either that just because she's telling you that it's only a casual relationship she won't play games and act like she's your girlfriend.

I'd never put myself in that kind of situation, so I'll never find out. My guess is yes.

Yes they are! And once you think you are done, one of you will be having a feeling of some sort.....entanglements! No,i agree with Raw-G; i never want to go that road, and hopefully,i wont ever get that desperate for the physicalities!

Your young and if both partners are on the same page have fun however if you develop feelings for her and she thinks it was just a fling you might get your feelings hurt.

Careful.... flings turn into things...
then someone gets hurt.

By FLING, do you mean two people engaging in the most intimate encounter known to man in the hopes that neither party will be emotionally affected by it? huh

are flings awkward ?

This is dependent upon how hard you are flung.

I've engaged in a number of flings, and the outcome varies. There are those that understand the rules of such an engagement and you happily go your seperate ways after sometime. And then there are those that get complicated... Complications are awkward. Make it very clear where things stand from the get-go. Be brutally honest if you have to. Nothing worse than grey area. As spontaneous as flings are meant to be, you don't want to end up hurting someone's feelings because of your own carelessness.
