Wait till you reach 50, and then look back! There was no such thing as cell phones. You had to use the heavy black thing that was attached to the wall. If you wanted to see a movie outside of the cinema or drive in, you had to wait until it came on tv. About 3 years later. There were no CDs. There was 45rpm 7"single 33rpm Long Player records[Didn't ya just cry when your favourite track got scratched)? There was no such things as calculators. You had to do your Math homework by using your brain. Ask a kid these days what 10 + 44 is, they'll pull out their cell. 
Yep Over 50s also have a reason to gripe. lol  
Dom't forget the 8-track tapes. I was 20 when I found out what AC was. Cartoon of Marlboro was $2.10. A lot has changed, and not for the better. |
