Some people are contacting me without profile photo/s to look at and see what they look like...
My questions are: How do you handle mingle members who keeps telling you they are good looking but yet you don't know who they are and what they look like? Are they hiding their identity because of some status issues? Do you have 2 cents on this? |

I have this statement on my profile: "PLEASE HAVE THE COURTESY OF HAVING A PHOTO BEFORE CONTACTING ME."

Limit them to pictures only.............
It makes life much easier. When i ask them why no photo they say mean things. Save yourself from that and limit to people with photos. After all we are shopping. MY picutes are not great, but they get the general idea. |

Some folks are afraid of their picture being hijacked and used without their consent or knowledge. Some folks are truly good looking and prefer that you get to know them for their personality first. Some are here on the 'down low' and don't want to be seen until it looks like they are going to get some action. And I suspect they are a few who feel that they are less than attractive, and want a connection first.
Me, I want to see the individual and I post a few pics of me so the ladies know exactly who to look for when we finally meet. And of course some people use other pics that they have hijacked off the internet to mislead others. |

Well, if someone doesn't have a photo and they say they are good-looking, they are either full of themselves or full of crap. Anyway, who is to say what is "good looking"? It's so subjective.
I don't like the ones who say they can send me a photo through email. That makes me wonder what/who they are hiding from, or if they are wanting to get my email address for scamming & spamming, etc. I don't have to have a photo in order to TALK to someone, but if they think I'll go with "let's fall in love with my personality only", NOPE!! They obviously picked you out of the bunch due to photo(s) and profile personality. |

If someone has no photos I'll still interact on the threads with them and possibly for one or two e-mails. After that they need to show themselves.
I've heard every excuse under the sun, and some are almost reasonable. However, they could be any one of six billion people on the planet. If you are looking for a date on a social site you need to show yourself. And it had better be an accurate representation not a ten year old glamor shot. |

Is there a way to block users before an email gets sent?
Keep getting ones from people with fake pics of themselves. |

Frankly, I don't give a hoot what they looked like back when. My decision to meet someone is based on what they look like now. Looks is not all that matters, but being physically attracted IS part of the package deal. |
