This sounds that all you like to do is drink and make love. Is that all there is to you? Really?

2. Profession: Tell u later
You lose points for this. What is it about your profession that you cannot say.

However, do are sexy and attractive, so you get points for that.

Here is what I say. Be yourself. Speak from the heart, and you'll never go wrong. Don't try to be someone you're not, and if someone doesn't like who you are, then, all the better for you, as you weed out those people who do not like you for you.

Everyone has things about them that are desirable to others (Shiki has many), and everyone has things about them that are undesirable to others (Shiki has a few).

Just be true to yourself, and let who you are come out. Guys will be interested in that.

Also, as a rule of thumb, there are three rules about what NOT to mention about a woman:

1. Her age
2. Her weight
3. See rules 1 and 2.

Dating at 13? Way too young, but that is my two cents.

I have a niece, and she started dating at 16, and that was with me being the chaperone. In fact, if any teenager does not feel comfortable with a chaperone, take that as a HUGE RED FLAG.

I'm not saying to be right next to them all of the time. If they want to go to the movie, for example, fine, no problem. You sit on one side of the movie theater, and I'll sit on the other. Now, they can watch the movie, and that is all good, but if he starts making out with her, that is my cue to jump in and beat the crap out of him. Because any guy who is openly disrespecting my niece, my blood, deserves to get his butt kicked.

If your daughter has Facebook, by all means, monitor it. And lastly, this is going to sound weird, but you should date your daughter. Your daughter should know how a man is supposed to treat her. Don't assume she will know.

The idea that let them do it because they are going to do it anyway is like saying, "Don't have premarital sex, but if you do, use a condom." This sends kids the wrong signal. You are giving them the green light to have sex. If you have a good line of communication with your daughter, you should be able to talk with her, and say that you want to be her guide for her date for her safety and protection. And if you do not have a good line of communication with her, by all means, get THAT first.

I must have missed something. Thus far, I have not yet read any advantages to unbelief.

Did I miss something? If so, can someone please post anything as to what these advantages are?

If not, as we have four pages, can we then summarize that there are no advantages to unbelief.

Of all topics on mingle2, this is, by far, my favorite one. I love to see all of these viewpoints. It is also refreshing to see that many of us can have a rational and reasonable conversation.

Where do I begin with TexasScoundrel? Again, I would like to add that this all stemmed from me merely stating that I like to read the Bible every day.

The more he writes, the more you see the veracity of the Bible. As an example, one claim against the Bible is that the people in the Bible who were against God could not be that stubborn.

Then, we read TexasScoundrel's accounts and you can see how stubborn can be.

I also love the condescending tone from him. You disagree with me, he states, so therefore you are an idiot.

As an example, he writes, "There is no argument about what Jesus was talking about among the experts. It's only the people that have trouble with what he said that want to argue about it."

And so, now we have people like him who are the experts, and the rest of us are not? This is, after some of us who are well versed in the Bible, have disputed his claims, time and time again, only to have him crop up the same verses.

And nobody here is arguing. We're merely discussing. Another example is when he states that "But, when someone starts talking creationism, for example, I know they don't know what they're talking about because evolution isn't argued among the scholars anymore."

Well, I know what I'm talking about and I do believe in Creationism. To state that there is a Creation (us), there is also the one who made us (a Creator). You may disagree with that, but there is validity from this perspective.

As you are so well versed in the Bible, and are an expert, would you mind stating other quotes than the three you did about how Jesus' prophecies did not come to pass? Surely, someone as knowledgeable as yourself would have more than three quotes.

Mikey, you are an avid reader of the posts of Shiki, and you understand the wisdom of Shiki, and so, this has been stated before.

Shiki, unlike you, is a sexy, sexy man. And the problem with that is the Shikettes out there do not look at him as anything other than a piece of meat. However, as one Shikette found out yesterday, she was pleasantly surprised, and soon learned why he is known as BIG Sexy.

Amen to that. I agree with this 100%. If you want to see what is in a person's heart, listen to what comes out of their mouth.
