Hello all! Shiki here!

One person posted that I was mean. Cruel. Harsh.
On the other hand, many others have said that I am nice and compassionate.
And yet others claim that I am a sexy sexy chicken cutlet of love.

So, what's your opinion? We'd like to know.

Is Shiki mean and obscene?
Is he super funny and sweet as honey?
Do I dream about him at night? Does the thought of him make me moist and creamy?

Awaiting your responses.

Of course I have a lot to learn. We all have a lot to learn. When we stop learning, we stop living.

Why does Jeanniebean want to stop living? Is it because she does not read the Bible?

No worries. You are now a Shikette. Shiki is a gentle little desert flower.

Me neither. I don't want to give it away, but many times, I hear, "If God exists, then why do bad things happen to good people?"

So, I wanted to throw this question out there.

Jeanniebean writes:

"I already know how to read."

It's nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe you weren't taught properly.

OK, switching topics...

Why do you think God does bad things to good people?

[I know the answer to this one, but wanted your viewpoints.]

As a Christian, we are called to work diligently and efficiently. Maybe you weren't taught how to read it properly. If you would like, I would be glad to be your teacher in this area.

How can you expose truth? You don't expose what is, only what isn't.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, faith, and a sound mind.

Jeanniebean, why do you no longer read the Bible? You say it is because it is a waste of time. Do you mean that you used to waste time? Or was it that back then, you needed the Bible or felt it to be valuable?

Then you are called to expose yourself.

Nobody is demanding anything. But, if you are a Christian, you are CALLED to spread the gospel. I'm not demanding that you do this. However, you cannot say you are a good Christian if you are not spreading the gospel.

But, I'm not demanding anything.

And you have me as an extremist? I am a gentle desert flower.

But, let me ask you this.

I can quote where we are called to spread the gospel. Show me where you see in the Bible that we are not called to do so.

Dragoness, no worries. We will not give up on you.

Think about it. In less than one week, by me speaking with Jeanniebean, she is now reading the Bible. Again, God gets the glory, not me. I am simply thankful to be a conduit to Christ.

Dragoness writes:

"All religions have to be taught or none."

Then she writes:

"No religion can be sanctioned by the government and be taught by the government."

Then, she writes:

"Only if you are willing to pay for all those religions to be taught and only to college students thank you very much."

Why would I have to pay for this? Public school is free. And why should this be taught only in colleges? Do you mean to tell me that kids learning how to put condoms on at 5 years old is relevant. But, learning about the Bible? Oh no!!!!!

Dragoness, it is a simple question - if all religions could be taught, would you favor religion in public schools?

As for Jeanniebean stating that I am crying, I have to take this with a grain of salt as she states that teaching the Bible is akin to "promoting a war in public schools." Has this happened? Have their been Bible-based students involved in throwdowns? Have Scripture Scholars flashed gang signs?

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Thank you for proving my point. I give you credit in that you actually quoted the other two verses. Most people would not.

However, let's look at this, verse by verse.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Do you see any demands here? I do not. Simply put, if you believe in Christ, you will have everleasting life. You don't have to agree with this. This is merely a statement, not a demand.

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Again, nobody is demanding anything; this statement merely explains why Christ came into the world.

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

This is not a demand. This statement is saying that if you do not believe in Christ, you are condemned. It is up to you to decide whether to believe.

Where do you see anything here about demanding anything?
