They have a study that says that a lot of serial killers started out killing and stuff like that to animals........scary to think of kids who do this kind of stuff.

I have a serious love for animals.....thats probably why I have 3 rescued cats and 2 dogs, (one I saved from a puppy mill) and the other her puppy that I got too attached to. I seriously think that PETA spends too much time on stupid things instead of the problem of abuse to animals from families that should love them.

Very well said and I agree with you whole heartly. I have sat and watched the hate and the words spill upon the page. It is sad that as Adults we can't bite our tounges at times and at least use better words than what some put upon the page. Life is cruel from the time we are born. I have taught my kids to respect others feelings. Even if they ask you to be honest they are not asking you to put it in such a harsh way. There are correct ways to put things and ways it should never be put. Ones also need to learn that it is not society that made people hateful it is what is within that does. If the only thing that comes out of ones mouth is hateful things that hurt others. It is time that they need to sit back and look within to see why there is so much hate inside. 
HATE BREWS HATE!!! 
So take the time and say a few kind words instead you will see that in return you will receive kindness as well.

I'm still very, very new to this place and already I've seen what is being talked about in this topic. But I've also seen really wonderful people say really nice things to/about others. Its those people who make me feel like its worth it to stick it out here. 
The good totally out weigh the bad most of the time......just don't really understand why there has to be bad. I guess my heart is way to close to the surface. |

perhaps i did go to far when i told them off...but a man is able to take the punches where put downs are conserned...but we were talking about a woman who was facing the most hardest and nightmarish strugle of her life...she deserved better,my italian/german anger exploded i guess I didn't see any of that. I know that stuff gets blown out of proportion when emotions are involved. Like they said earlier it is a serious problem when it is a pattern and several have a pattern of it.

i agree...one very horrible comment about a paralized woman comes to mind...emotions can make people say very ugly things..but adults have the god given sence of reasoning befor acting out on impulses I agree....especially when you can read it again before it is seen, unlike real words in the real world.

I agree whole heartedly and being the brunt of the "opinion that I asked for" just recently, I can vouch for the fact that it does hurt one's feelings. I probably should have ignored it. It was painful and I am just lucky to have nice people on this site that were supportive. I read that battle and I feel bad for you. It shouldn't matter the opinion that you ask for......I think that there is always a way to be respectful of the way that you give your opinion. BTW, I think you are a very beautiful woman.

I think there are a few that have a pattern of it......I guess I was raised as a child to always think before I speak. I just think people should read out loud before they post it.JMO

I often lurk and don't post and watch some of the people and what they have to say. I often wonder if people honestly think about what they say and how much it could hurt someone else. I mean seriously.......aren't we on a dating site to at the minimum meet friends. Why would anyone want to be friends with anyone that is down right mean and disrespectful to the point that an all our war starts? I am finding that some don't have enough respect for themselves let alone respect for others. Everyone says something they don't mean once in awhile, but some of this stuff is down right evil and mean.
I see the excuses like.......they asked for the opinion so they got mine, yet they don't realize that being nasty to someone else has given others an opinion about them. I'm just wondering why some place that gives all of these people right to you in the click of a few keys for free do we have to make it so ugly and mean. Do people think that being a smart a$$ is attractive? Maybe my reasons are differnt for being her than others. The forums are a way to show people what type of person you are. Please try to remember that when you post something nasty and hurtful to someone.

 well check this out!!..i should have read all of it kirota..you have horses.. thats great.. my grandfather has a horse ranch in shut-des-blondeau/ontario,,and everytime that i return from a out of province construction detail..i always relaese the hired hands from thier duties for a few days just so i can be with them..(the horses i mean not the hired hands).. honeygold is my favorite of them all even though i dont show prefferences.. and your profile and pictures are wonderful and delightful... Thank you...the horses are a great release for me and the stresses of the day. They rate a very high #2 to my children. This time of year is fun because I have colts due at any time. this is wonderful kirota...i need to share this with you though..this may or may not be the case with you because i dont know how long it's been since you have had these wonderful animals..it might be awhile before the stallion will let anyone near the young one..even yourself..for instance when the mother will be nursing the father will most often then not be circling the two in a constant motion keeping everyone at bay..and if you approach it might be dangerous for you.. but then too if you do have many years of experience with horses then im very sure that you know what you're doing..... great letter kiroto. thanks.. lol. I have several World and National titles. I have been raised around horses and breeding programs my whole life. My Grandfather had 5 stallions and 300 head of broodmares. We don't run any of our stallions with the mares. My colts are all born in nice warm stalls with cams...but thanks for the advice.

I'm sorry....that was pretty rude and didn't need to be said. He is young and might be hot headed, but insulting him after he had backed down was just wrong.
