i thought since they had a not=rthern accents topic why not have a southern accent page...i love men with southern drawls...i do like english accents too...but when a guys talk all southern and s**t i go crazy....

Ugh, I am from southwest Louisiana and I don't much care for southern accents. It makes people sound uneducated even though they could be smart. I don't have one but I do catch myself saying ya'll... its just something thats in the dialect and no one really seems to notice. Kind of like how no one here really says soda or pop. If you want a drink like that we ask what kind of coke do you want lol. In fact I use to talk to a girl from Ohio and laughed every time she mentioned wanting a pop.

You CAN have an educated Southern drawl! All Southerners don't necessarily say y'all and other bad grammer. The ladies with the sexy twang are very attractive!!

I had a southern accent for a while when I was younger, but as I got older, I began to not like it at all.
Try living in a hick town for a while and then tell me how you feel about the accent.

The cowboys you see in the movies are nothing like they are in, let's say, West Texas.

Hauling down the road with trainers from the south for so long I tend to have a bit of that in the way I speak. I think there is nothing sexier than a great guy saying "Yes, Maam".....WOW

That's a very polite thing to say in the south.
But when they use that southern accent... it makes me shudder.
