I'm coming to the conclusion that trying to squelch the hate here is a complete waste of my time.

I'm sorry, t22! I just hate excuses for bad behavior. But, I love being called a loonie libber! That's so cute! Thanks, Quick!

She might just be desperate for another opinion.

Or maybe she's a pet slut.

You know...one of those dogs or cats who will go around the room begging pets from who ever is there.

Some animals have no standards.

Riley, the pet slut. what
Are you a pet slut, Rileeey?
Yep, she's waggin' her tail as we type! drool

DON'T GRIEVE TOO LONG
Don't grieve too long for now I'm free
I've followed the path God set for me
I ran to Him when I heard His call
I swished my tail and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To bark, to love, to romp or play
Games left unplayed must stay that way
I found such peace, it made my day.

My parting has left you with a void
Please fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, your laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too shall miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life's been full, you've given so much
Your time, your love and gentle touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your head and share with me
God wanted me, He set me free!

Now your gonna have me cryin"! Sweet!

Child physical, emotional, and sexual abuse is unforgivable and no doubt can have an adverse affect on the adult life. But when something bad happens to me, I don't seek it out and make happen again.
I don't know, maybe I'm just a hard a$$, but I think that has become an easy excuse for bad behavior. Bad in this case being because he had a loving wife and kids, and people all over the world who looked to him for guidance. IMO

....is it wrong of me to not date someone because they are fat?? lol. dont get me wrong i have slept with some big girls so its not like a concrete rule. however, if i had to be honest it isnt as fun to sleep with a big girl as it is a smaller girl. id explain why but im sure we are all mature enough to figure it out.

so what do you say? is it wrong??

If your not physically and emotionally attracted to someone, it is WRONG to make them think you are by sleeping with them. I guess I'm just not mature enough to figure out your "why" part, though! spock

noblenan, I find it funny, as well, that she never replies to any posts that point this out... so much for fair and unbiased debate. laugh

I'm starting to think it's a compliment to be insulted by certain people. Makes me think I'm on the right track!

I don't agree with Huckabee and never have. That said, bravo to him for showing graciousness and unity.

It's what I've been saying as well.

Policy is one thing but the personal attacks by the LIBS shows that they have no class.

I get attacked for raising ISSUES I think are important while many here just like to name call at posters. I think the OP should be practice a few things from huckabee as well.

You, my dear, aren't attacked for bringing up issues. You are attacked for saying "...those LIBS always..." in almost every one of your posts. You are attacked for being an attacker. It's called self-defense.

Thank you! flowerforyou

Maybe we should consider that our opinions are based on our own personal experiences. What's true for one is obviously not true for the other. In my reality and that of people around me, it's not just the "poor" that are struggling. Those that I know that are now struggling are not drug users, alcoholics, mentally or physically ill. It's the $35,000 and up crowd. Decent jobs, educated. Are those people innocent victims? No. But, they were lured into the false sense of wealth. A carrot was precariously dangled in front of their noses. And the carrot was easy credit. It sounds like there might of been a little dangling in Florida, too.

Respectfully, where have you been for the last 40+ years? These have not been years of prosperity for most.

Where do you get your information from? The Michael Moore encyclopedia?

In the U.S. since 1968:

Life expectancy has increased from 69 years to 78.

Americans today actually work less hours to bring home more goods.

In 1968 it was not uncommon for many American households to have only one car.

Today even most "poor" households have two or more cars, multiple televisions, computers, cell phones, internet access, DVD players, game consoles, and digital cameras.

The poor people that I have met don't have those items.noway

{INKeys}
I will acknowledge your attempt to insult me with a reference to Michael Moore, I don't find Mr. Moore offensive and I believe I lean on common sense to guide my opinions. Please look around. The truly poor don't have those things as Winx said and the middle class owes credit card companies out the wazhoo for them. And, the upper class either owns the manufacturing, sale, or financing, etc. of them. Our elderly are out living the meager money they have managed to save, or more often comes from the sale of the family home.
Your personal experience may have been better than that, but the figures you quote don't mean a whole lot to the average American.
The average American family has approx. $8000 in credit card debt. That does not include a house payment, car payment, medical expenses. Those of us who are affected by this have to wake up from false sense of prosperity. That's the only way the economy can survive, in my opinion.

Have a pleasant evening,
Nan
