IMO, it is human nature to be afraid of what you don't understand, and relish it when the righteous fall. It is also human nature to try to impose our beliefs on others. We're only doing what comes naturally!

Just based on the knowledge I have, the bible is a work of fiction with some real events and places. Note: she is a he....smile Sorry, it was hard to tell he from she with kitty cats. Besides the kitty wore a swimming cap, so it looked like a she to me. 
While the sex of the kitty might be questionable, the sex of the OP definitely is not!

Which women's rights is Palin supporting? Maybe I should have said "some" women's rights. I heard a blurb earlier about her support of equal pay for equal work. She's pro-life, which is works for her. I don't believe any politician on this stage is truly pro women's rights. It's just a ploy. We nned to be madder than this to really get something done.
She's so pro life that she's against abortion even in cases of rape and incest. That's not supporting women's rights at all. That can go either way. I agree with you, but I don't think pro-life people do. |

If you want to believe that God did this for you more power to you. I see no reason to try to convince other people. If the Holy Spirit isn't capable of saving all the worthy people on his own then he isn't much of a God. The bottom line is pretty simple. If it's true that a truly righteous God exists. And that God can indeed to miralcles etc., then it's utterly silly to think that God would 'lose' a good soul to Satan. For if that were to happen God himself would be a loser. Can't have that.

Which part do you find funny, the politicalization of other's suffering, or the fact that they are trying to get everyone to leave the area and he is going there! I chose the later.
PS My brother is a 30 resident of New Orleans ST. Bernard Parish. It's his home and the home of his family. It's easy to say "just leave and don't return". His wife is buried there. She died shortly after Katrina. He had a mandatory evacuation by 4 pm...yesterday. And McCain wants to survey the preparations!

Abortion is just Murder and you would think the liberals would be against it, They are against Lethal Injections, the war in Iraq and any other form of Cruelty, but when it comes to a baby, they have no soul, they are heartless and want the option to Kill something that has yet gotten to know life. Not all Liberals are against lethal injections, and many are against the war in Iraq because it began on false pretences. Who are we to judge others on this moral issue? In my opinion, that is between the person and their self, and their God, or whatever they choose to call it.

I left a BF and his princess daughter (age 16) at a trout camp 150 miles from home because he was treating me, and particularly, my daughter (age 16) badly. His son had to go get him and bring him to get his stuff from my house. Neither of us said a word. He just got his stuff and left, and I've never spoken to him again. It worked out well.
