"And through it all they have taught me
That I too am love, I too am never alone "

May that be in the back of your mind, the heart of your heart, and on the tip of your tongue always!

Blessings and love to you, sweet poet!

If you are in the least bit concerned about it, then yes, do test! It is better to relieve your anxiety than stress and worry. Stress can delay periods too, so if you're not you may just make your wait longer!

Whatever works- in virtual land and the real world (that's including the basement, lol!) anything goes and in my book, it's all sacred. So rum-pa-pum tak tak doom tak away bigsmile

I think many people who are looking for that become afraid of it when they get it. They cry, "somebody, reach out and touch me!" and when they get that touch, they are surprised and sometimes fearful because they are losing their lonelieness

I too am a Willow. I've seen this in a few places (farmers almanac, years ago, I believe). I was humored to find that the tree I am so fond of I am also most like

Aw, but I'd rather play Harpsichord!

Ah well, I suppose ancient shamans didn't have harpsichords, and since we don't have a KEYBOARD yet to pretend with I'll play with the flute.

But you have to get your drum out then

Wandering thoughts lend
spirited arguments over
spiritual certainties-

Frustrated hearts close minds-
closed minds damage souls-
damaged souls lose footing,
slide, and forget
We're all In This Together

*Hides my silver-plated yamaha flute and hands you a simple little bamboo flute* Why... of course I do! As long as you can figure out how to play it! My ocarina got broken or I'd play that with you

The only thing that can be frightening about age gaps is a thought in long term relationships- knowing that somebody 20 years older than you has 20 years less to live than you, can be saddening and weaken a relationship. (theoretically, of course, this statement is based on statistics)

All-in-all, I really think if people are like minded enough and love each other, it really doesn't matter. But it is very situational flowerforyou

The concept of "races" within the human species boggles my mind. Skin colour is just part of what makes us unique as a species, amongst ourselves. I often wish I had purple skin, myself. Lovely, royal purple. But that's beside the point! (lol)

I know that, sadly, for some people, dating/marrying, or even being friends with somebody whose skin has more or less pigment than theirs is not possible. And it is not always their choice, but pressure from family/friends/communities can make an interracial couple an impossibility.

And Poly, consider this- a black, brown or yellow person can be a part of your culture. Just because somebody has, say, East Indian ancestors doesn't mean they haven't spent their whole life in America.

Vista is pretty, it cleaned windows up a lot. And for non tech-savvies, or people who just want a computer for the basics, it doesn't take a super awesome system to run it. It can be a resource hog though, so if you are buying/building a computer with it, boost your ram up a couple gigs. And be warned, the rest of the tech world is still catching up- my MP3 player and some of my favorite software can't live with our new laptop, it has to stay with my old clunker

Such graceful personification of something we all so love to see! Beautifully written- can I be a leaf dancing in the trees as I fall?

Beautiful, this brought a smile to my face. I really love the stanza "Captured, mesmerized/By her daring and her charm/A tempest in the making/Causing stir, some alarm," reminds of of the excitement and energy I hate when I first met my husband happy flowerforyou

Formula after formula
Of algebraic disaster
Decimated my mind--

My wits were
Caged in a concrete box,
And when they could take no more
I exploded--

That brick and mortar barrier now
Drifts away, lost to a vague, meandering
Wind.

*I kneel, drum between my knees, and begin to sing a healing song. Drumming the heart beat, I pray for cleansing of this space*

Seriously ya'll, our spirituality is our hearts, and while we can venture down different paths, we must each travel our own road. I ask you all to take a deep breath and quiet yourselves, just for a moment. Arguing isn't normally spiritually advancing, so instead, I'm taking a moment for a prayer. For all of you, the people I love, the people who try my patience, and the people I don't understand, here is some peaceful, happy energy. I invite you all to say a prayer for each other too. It doesn't matter what god you do or don't pray to- if it is, you're welcome not to join.

Blessings, and love, to you all

I agree Abra, and have felt the same way since I was a child. Now, at 21, I'm in the cycle and hate it. Feel trapped and controlled by consumerism. Small towns offer little reprieve for people trying to make changes. Closed minds push the American dream down kiddies throats and my 6 year old niece is proud of her savings account but couldn't grow a carrot to save herself.

My husband and I decided long ago that when we are blessed with our pitter patters we are home schooling and teaching our child(ren) how to take care of themselves with Earth mother beneath their feet. I think it is the only way I could promise a chance of real life for my young.

It's very depressing, if you let it get to you
