I did forget to mention earlier that the bodybuilders trying to increase the body mass do have to eat much more when focusing on strengthening the Legs, Back, and Shoulders. Their increased calories will be going to their muscles instead of their gut as long as they eat healthy. You tone up and get smaller when you eat slightly less than normal and focus on those muscle groups. With the fewer calories, the muscles will not get enough calories for repair and your body will break down the muscle or fat to be used for energy or the repairs of the body. Keeping the protein high will negate the loss of muscle, promoting your body’s use of fat for energy and repair of the body. OKay! then I'm going to get some ice cream! Ok, I did get carried away with it. I should had KISS'd (Keep it simple stupid). Stupid being moi. Wait a minuite, did you say Ice cream? Now your making me think of haagen-dazs! errr! I mean mmmm! |

I am going to try 1979 by the Smashing Pumpkins for the first time tonight. I did "Blister in the Sky" by the Violent Femmes last night for the first time and some dude butted in with out my permission and started singing with me. Not fun.

Trying & trying here...ya gotta really eat right & excercise. My problem is I wanna loose weight in certain areas more then others and loose a little weight over all (without loosing my boobs!) lol....but thats where the excercise for toinng comes in.....dieting alone can't do that..am I right? Not sure if this will help, but for body builders to increase the size of their arms, they have to get stronger with the legs, back, and shoulders to do it. You would think that curls alone would do it, but the key is increasing the total body mass. The same is for when you decrease the total body mass, the desired body part you want to be reduced will be, but along with all the other parts of your body. Your bust size will be reduced but not significantly, unless your body fat level becomes that of an Olympic athlete. |

I am also curious what songs people like to sing at Karaoke. The Cars, The Doors, Depeche Mode, The Toadies are what I enjoy singing.
I might have to give the Wicked Game a try this weekend! Thanks for the idea Valentina. |

Karaoke = having fun and not ment to an epic award winning performance. If the crowd does not like you, wait till they have had a few drinks. Beleive me, they are easier to entertain at that point.

I don't know about you, but I love Karaoke. At least once a week I go to the mic at a bar and do my thing. I was just wondering who else enjoys the wonders of Karaoke.

I have had much success by eating 4-6 small meals a day. It keeps me lean and my energy high. I make sure I have a lean protein and a vegtable every time I eat.

It’s crazy how the music from ones awkward high school days remains to be some of my favorite rock music. Grunge rock was the going thing for rock! The best Albums of that time came from Sound Garden, Smashing Pumkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains. The Garage rock sound also became popular with Rage Against the Machine, Weezer, Toadies, and Local H. Interesting times, great music!

Couch to 5k

I have found that when you test yourself right from the get go of training, it helps you find a basis for improvement and it will allow later on to see how far you have come. With running, find how far you can actually run the 5K. You can set a time to see how long it took you. Take a day of rest, and the next time you run, run as far as you feel comfortable and then walk the remaining 5K. Each time you run, add 30 seconds of running then walk the rest of the way. Add 30 seconds every run until you can complete the entire 5k running. Essentially you start with something that is easy to you and take a lot of baby steps in improvement which overtime will get you the results you desire. Remember to take one day rest in-between runs.

A CRUSH

I have crushes, two kinds. The first kind is the one I enjoy the most, and it is when I meet someone that somehow I can tell there is something different or special about them. As a person, they are beautiful and I am too spell bound by their beauty to think of them in a sexual way. It almost feels like I discovered a rare gem of immeasurable worth. I often feel like I am unworthy for such a person.
The other way is the opposite and less enjoyable because my other brain takes control and the other person I am lusting after is but an object(like looking at porn). No feelings involved except for how I feel. This makes me feel extremely uncomfortable in public. So far I have yet to have had a crush that involves both types of attraction equally. It has been one or the other. |

Talk about your own faults

I have been extremely anti social for my whole life, which makes it difficult to get into relationships. I have also been through many cycles of depressed and anti social to being more assertive and outgoing and back to the graveyard again. Video games, TV, and Computers which kept me indoors also kept me anti-social. I went back to school, found the wonders of Karaoke, and spend less time with the things that make me depressed and it has helped. It is crazy, the more I am in the environment that I fear the most, the better I feel afterwards. I am even more confident and willing to talk to others.
Oh, and everyone has mental issues. The ones that claim they do not are in denial. |

I ran cross country in high school, so yes I have ran on a trail. Running on a trail is fun! You get to jump logs, hop over or run through creeks, run up hills, run over bridges, make your way through some tight spots and turns, see squirrels run away from you, etc... Ok it is more varied and softer on your knees then running on pavement or the treadmill.

This is the routine with displayed in non paragraph form:
Start: 1 pullup then 10 push ups Rest Day 2 pull ups, 10 push ups, 1 pull up, 10 push ups Rest Day 3 pull ups, 10 push ups, 2 pull ups, 10 push ups, 1 pull ups, 10 push ups Rest Day.. Continue increasing adding another the first set with a value 1 greater then the last untill you can not complete the entire routine. You will reach this point in week 1 or week 2. Rest Day If the last routine you completed started at 7 then you will start the first set at 1 and continue at 7 pullups Rest Day Add 1-3 pull ups to the first set, then continue at 7 with one day rest inbetween till that first set is 8 pullups. Next session start the first set back at 1 and work up to 9 and so on (this is the process that takes months). Another great aspect to this routine is that you build muscle that stays. You will not lose 20lb of muscles in a month like if you stopped doing heavy squats (hint hint... if you want to get bigger do Squats!). Keep the routine simple, allow yourself to see progress, persistence, and will produce results! Do not skip rest days to reach your goal faster, because you will hurt your progress and you will quit prematurely, never reaching your goal. One session, or one week of effort will do nothing but make you sore. Months spent reaching small goals every session with a day of rest in-between sessions, will produce results! |

I have tried mulitple ways to improve my pullups including multiple sets of low reps, weighted pull ups, and sets of 10 spread out through the day. It was hard to see progress, so I would discontinue prematurely, thus no results. A budy of mine told me about another way.
If you can already do at least one pullup start a Piramid going down from 1 (pullup) to 1(10 push ups) with 10 push ups inbetween pullups no rest and the last pull up finnish with a negative 30s or greater. A day of rest and start the first set at 2 pullup and the second set will be 1 pullup at next time. Progress till you can not complete the entire piramid and the next session start the next session with the first set intended to be the number you could not start but at 1 pullup. Each time you perform the routine, add 1-3 pullups to the first set till you reach your set you orignally could not complete. The glory of this routine is that you see progress every time you perform the routine and you make goals that you can meet. You will have to do this routine every other day. You will need that full day of rest for recovery. When you start your routine at 10 pullups you will be able to do 20 pullups. At my routine starting at 11 I could do 25 pullups. It works! It does take time and hitting the pullup bar three times to four times a week for possibly months to reach your goal. If you can already do 10-12 pullups, it should only take two months to get to the point that you can do 20. This also is much more effective for building the upper body beach musles that Bench and curls alone (a waist of time in my opinion). |

People need People and isolation equals self destruction. I have learned this the hard way and have had to learn it again and again. All I know is life would really suck for me if it were not for Karaoke. Try new things that involve being with and engaging with other people. Oh, and baby steps. Small changes overtime result in great changes overtime.

The re-make of "Christmas in Connecticut" in 92 directed by the Govenator was classic throw up in a trash can bad. The opening scene was a huge surprise (knowing who directed it), with the main male character pumping out chin ups, dips, and SWEATING!! The story was how a manly wilderness hermit gets hooked up with a hot lady based off his ability to chop wood. Oh, and he also gets to stare at the hot ladies *** for about ten long seconds while she is on the floor cleaning something on her knees.
