I just joined the online weight watchers today. Anyone have any stories to share about their success?

A girl I know is in the program and 33 pounds down from her goal to lose 70. She feels great and apparently it's working really well for her.

IDK....I just can't bring myself to pay for any weight loss programs, only thing I would probally loose is my money. I've been slowly changing my eating habits on my own. I lost 3 lbs in the past month just from cutting down on soda, pizza, chips, ect. also trying to burn calories whenever possble (even if it's just taking a walk on my lunch break or doing a little foot dance under my desk for 8 hrs a day! Just gotta keep it moving!

I agree; I wouldn't pay for a weight loss program either. I just changed the way I prepared my meals and exercised more. I lost 40 pounds and gained some good toned muscles.

I have had much success by eating 4-6 small meals a day. It keeps me lean and my energy high. I make sure I have a lean protein and a vegtable every time I eat.

eating healty is great, but it's not a subsitution for workout, if you cannot Run commit ur self to walking for few miles a week.
Cardio and Yoga can produce very good results.

Not sure if this will help, but for body builders to increase the size of their arms, they have to get stronger with the legs, back, and shoulders to do it. You would think that curls alone would do it, but the key is increasing the total body mass.

The same is for when you decrease the total body mass, the desired body part you want to be reduced will be, but along with all the other parts of your body.

Your bust size will be reduced but not significantly, unless your body fat level becomes that of an Olympic athlete.

For some people, programs such as weight watchers helps a lot when it comes to being accountable for what you're doing. If you're able to do that without any type of help, that's great. Same thing goes for working with a trainer at the gym. For some, it helps a great deal to work directly with someone who will push you. Others have no problem sticking with it on their own. There's nothing wrong with doing it on your own and there's nothing wrong with using a program such as weight watchers. It isn't going to be the same for everyone.

I did forget to mention earlier that the bodybuilders trying to increase the body mass do have to eat much more when focusing on strengthening the Legs, Back, and Shoulders. Their increased calories will be going to their muscles instead of their gut as long as they eat healthy.

You tone up and get smaller when you eat slightly less than normal and focus on those muscle groups. With the fewer calories, the muscles will not get enough calories for repair and your body will break down the muscle or fat to be used for energy or the repairs of the body. Keeping the protein high will negate the loss of muscle, promoting your body’s use of fat for energy and repair of the body.

I go to Weight Watchers when I need to get back in control. It works very well! Heres a tip...If you feel like binging just eat a ton of grapes or something healthy and start all over in the morning.

Yeah ....It has been a very tempting junk food weekend...I do reach for the fruits and vegetables much more often. If I fault, I try to make it up with more excercise or the next meal I'll really strickly watch the carbs & calories....and portion control on everything!

I have found when I do over eat its usually emotional for me....So now stuffing myself with something like grapes fills that emotional need to eat but does not pack on the weight and I can be on track again and still lose weight.

LOL...However a good pizza will still get me sometimes...no cure for that!

OOOOOO..pizza usually wins with me too!.... I analyze that if I eat ONE piece and then only eat the goodies off the top of the secound (no dough,to many carbs) that it's still cutting carbs! laugh
