When people get old and tired they run out of energy and eventually they start to think that life is just not worth it and they may as well just die. They welcome death. I think this is by design because it would be a shame if people were just young healthy and vital and then suddenly they dropped dead. That would be a tragedy. When you are old, you accept death easier. (You can tell I probably had a bad day today. ) I would agree with you on the Elderly, but I take care of them, and when they frequently mention 'they want to die', the minute they are faced with that aspect, their 'will to live' kicks in tenfold... Usually it is when they lose their mobiility, that is when the depression sets in, and the thought of having someone do the basic Cares for you, is a demeaning thought for many, not all...Then those elderly want out of this Plane, and onto the next for them.. My Grandmother spent the last 8 years of her life in hospital.... She was scared of the eventual moment for 3 years..... She was senile in her last 5 years here on earth.... We had interesting times with her at times but for some reason she came back to life spirit wise.... She was sometimes 10 or 26 or 45 and 60 years of age.... Wonderful days in her life.... She never brought up the fear of death while senile and peacefully set sail for heaven in her sleep one night... This moment in her life made me realize that not all is bad.... Think of the great things we've accomplished... Don't bring yourself down in spirits..... Wake in the morning and draw a wakening breath..... Smile..... Focus on living life..... |

I concur with you.....
Rules of life/relationships have multiple boundaries... They do not fit all.... They do fit the couples who are successful in life..... |

Is age the determining factor or common beliefs be the factor in creating a relationship...
I have had the priviledge of meeting a young lady on Mingle2..... 40 years young but attributes of an old soul.... My generation.... It is hard to believe we sit on the same platform directionally but focus issues on real issues beyond ourselves into the future.... 12 years difference in age.. Passion equal.... Not needing someone to find and feel younger in life.... To have found someone with the same passion I have....and...no words can do this justice.... All I can say to individuals on this site, is to get involved in the forums... Can't find a match..... Can't send out or receive a nudge.... Or-----IM...... We started in the forums.... Got the guts to view our profiles.. Then formally said hello via Emails.... Hours of phone calls under our belts.. Mingle 2 is our dance floor... I have good friends and company each time I am on line.... Thankyou to all of you... This is the best and only site I want to be on! I've asked my lady to do the same.... There is always hope for that perfect relationship..... There is always a guarantee you will have friends at Mingle2..... Wishing if teadipper could share on this but she may be busy..... |

It is common practice to sue government or regulatory bodies be it poor service or issues on rights and privaledges....
lol,, the country is far too litigious. doesnt their have to be a defendant to sue,,? Without knowing who wrote the note, I dont see a case. The defendant is the TSA.... If your car fell through the road in your community due to poor workmanship or construction, you would sue your local government or roads contractor.... The witch hunt for employees responsible would happen during or after the outcome of the case.... |
How far is this going to go....
Human rights and rights to privacy have no place today.... Travel and the TSA goes thru you G strings.... Tooth brushes.... If leaving a note was real..... I'd be hunting the parasite down.... Overstepping boundaries are the issue here.... What if it was your girl friend and you bought the toy... There are relationships out there that are comfortable with gifts like the one mentioned..... We have pretty well the charter of rights in both Canada and US..... You in the US have one better..... The right to bare arms!!! |

When dateing when do you think it is approriate to discuss who pays what or how financially capabale a person is to do various things? I ask because I live on a budget and assume most of the people I would date do also. But I am never sure if I am insulting my date by chipping in or making him feel like I am gold digger if I don't. Money seems to be a delicate subject. Any opinions? I am old fashioned.... I ask for the cheque and pay for the date.... I usually thank my date for her company and that I would be happy look after the dates cost.... |

We do meet interesting people here and some profile write ups depict this fact.... Question is Terri.... Do you think that the people you refer to, actually read or comprehend your very clear write up? |

The only allied casualty for the US in the Osama takedown was the Chopper.... An unseen unknown peice of future military machinery....
State of the art helicopter.... Explosives were activated on the chopper prior to leaving to remove Osama.... Stealth..... Bullet proof..... Shell made of a cloth like material..... No Seal lost their life..... |
It was.....
Door to door..... Building by building.... Community by community.... Road by road..... Suspected families dragged out of their homes..... All forces were in involved.... From bombing to support.... From intelligence to lack of.... The ultimate goal was Osama..... |
I really have a position on this and other wars...
It is terrible what happened in New York.... 9-11... I have 5 families close to me who lost their kids in the war of terrorism.... Our kids lived in a country that was not the target... What happened in your country was real.... What happened to our kids...... Is very real to me... |

nah, youd have to read some of the other threads to get the significance of the analogy,,, It just means someone did something well, but not quite PERFECT enough to get the credit,,, No need to be verbose when you nailed it so right... Over 100,000 troops per day looked for Osama under the Bush regime..... 9 elite troops took Osama out under Obama's leadership.... The math is easy.... Politics aside.... Many areas are now observing a real settling in our world Where do you think the initial Intelligence came from for Obama to get Osama? There were over 120,000 troops a month involved in terrorism, Afganistan and Osama...... Daily.... Every day..... |
