It is called a "compromise".

Thank you So much Centered!

the reason i bought kaspersky was because im really not tech savvy,so i just went ahead and paid.
i do understand about the free versions of stuff, but it seemed like everywhere i looked, the free programs would tell you what it was,but not remove it,unless you paid.

when i go to windows uninstaller,it does Not show avant in the list of programs.
thank you again for the links too.i emailed their support.

as far as a recommendation for blocking those exe-s,you explained what i didnt understand,so none needed there.
made perfect sense.

Thank you for your time and replies.
Rob

o im still having problems with this.

i still cannot get the avant systemsuite off my computer Centered,im totally lost.
ive run scan after scan with the malaware and the superspyware but it refuses to block, remove or delete it.

it doesnt show in the list of programs,so i cannot remove it,ive even went into task manager and shut it down to no avail.

ive also went into the sytem files thru the admin and deleted as many of avant as i could
the second i fire it up,the program reloads itself!!??

ive been all over the net looking for solutons, thats how i got the malaware n superspyware remover.

its a hewlett packard machine,desktop,with windows XP,running 2 512 memory sticks and ?

I use Firefox.
It's easy to turn of the pop-up blockers if need be.

I had Google Chrome.
It crashed my computer constantly.
I got rid of it.

I don't use IE, for some reason it won't work on my PC.

Tyvm,i was wondering about that. ( google chrome )

again, you Can use firefox and Internet Explorer on the same computer.
i have no clue why ie wont work on your pc??

i live about an hour away from the big" city of rochester.

when i rented,it was 400 a month..as you move closer to the cities,its as much as 800 a month.

in the big cities, its outrageous...mega money and no privacy at all.

i would much rather own a house for the kind of money people charge for rent.

now,the house payment is 500 a month.

Yes I added it as trusted and turned off pop up blocker.

did it work?

and, assuming you have a security program, have you added it to the trusted sites in your security also?

have you added the school website to your list of Trusted websites?

same thing,-tools-privacy tab-about the middle left side,it says Sites-click and add your school website.

unsure if that will help,but???

Where do you get a linux live CD and how hard is it to install?

from what i understand, and im Not a techie, you can download the linux, set it up and Then Burn a linux cd,as kinda like a boot disc..?

they say you just partition off your hd,and install the linux into that.

also, linux is free, whereas windows is not.
i used to use Firefox as a browser on one of my old pc-s,and it really worked well,so maybe this linux isnt a bad idea.

The answer is- that when you finally find someone that you connect on so many levels with, you don't want to screw something like that up for a little piece of azz. I waited for 6-7 months to meet Angel and I'd still be kicking myself if I went out and played the field.

Don't get me wrong, there has to be a pre established timeframe in meeting the person. But without the physical part of the relationship bogging things down, you really, really, get to know the person on a different level. At least that's how it worked for us.

completely and utterly Agree!
