Dark thoughts...

its the lack of compassion from a desensatized humanity that allows judgement of those who find themselves in despair and hoplessness... only way to combat it is to offer kindness whenever possible.. The problem there lies in we think of ourselves first before offering kidness to others. The proof of that is the greed that we see at Christmas time. It truly puts me off on Christmas as people are so busy spending thousands of dollars on others of the hope of getting something in return that we forgot those less fortunate and even more so forget basic manners of being kind to one another. At least in my mind..No one will ever make me think about Christmas differently,,it IS,,simply a time for the WORLD,,to really care about another,,if not in helping them,,then in simply showing them,,YOU CARE..I live everyday, like this,,even IF,,I had a bad day.. 
And I'm NOT saying I'm special,,just REAL,with who I am... I try to pass that on as often asI get that chance to do.. Gathering what you are saying, I'm glad to see there are at least two of us that are selfless the other 364 days out of the year. To me, Xmas is a commercialized spend-a-thon. Thats my take on this time and that feeling...BUT,,many who have MONEY in their hearts,,MISS this so SPECIAL GIFT!!! There are way worse things in life than being single at Christmas. My only thoughts about Christmas are for the homeless rather than feeling sorry for myself being alone. Those people truly have nothing and are also lonely. Ive been single a majority of my life. I think I only spent one xmas with someone. MY thoughts every day of the year is for others and less fortunate to be happy. Lots of families here lost their homes to the fire here in Reno a few weeks ago. Expensive homes and wealthy people, but I still went down to the shelter and offered my place for a family or two until they got on their feet again. |

Curious enough to ask. About anything. I look as Mingle. When I am not of here for months at a time as a bar I visit every now and then. I am the one that sits in the corner and observes others. Throws in my two cents no matter how worthless it may seem to others.
Random questions can be fun. ''Do you give enough for them to have something to ask about'' If you go to a bar/club/or get a approached in public from a guy. Do you think in all honesty, that if they're sincerely interested in you. Do you think you gave them a particular body language to approach you. p.s. Im asking this in the nicest way possible. I dont want you to think Im trying to sound like an ***. Cause it;s not my forte:) |

ok, u ready for this??? I spoke to him...gave him a 2nd chance....went for coffee, he told me that he's "separated", of course, i understand what that means...but then he admitted to me that he stays in the house with his wife, sleeps on the couch for the past 2 years....his youngest child is 3. wants a "F" buddy. came right out and said it. then he tried to neck in the car in the parking lot behind the diner! OH MY GOD! SEE YA! what is wrong with people? WHAT HAPPENED TO LOYALTY? WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE VOWS YOU TOOK SUCH A SHORT TIME AGO? I deserve better than a rumble seat lol. I can tell you that if you get emotionally attached to someone easy like I do. Stay away from the recently separated or divorced. Date someone with a clear headed and level mind, and knows what the hell they want. And dont be a rebound. Just sharing an experience. |

That's one reason why I have song lyrics on my profile instead all about me. If they are curious enough, they will ask. If not. No loss to my nights sleep.
I don't ask them the same thing that is on they're profile. I don't use that as ''ammo'' to prove that what they tell me may be wrong. I may ask how they got to where they were. Past/present relationships. Yada yada. That's if I find them interesting enough to talk to. But, it has happened. Only when I had way too much info on my profile. |
