Well, you have some decent information and are very expressive on your views. That's good. I might suggest writing a bit more general information and working on your sentence structure and organization a little bit.

You also might wanna rephrase the ending a little bit. As for what you're looking for, it gives a sort demanding and exclusive impression of you.

Overall, yes, you look dateable. Everybody's dateable. You just have to do some searching yourself. And I see you have some posts down. Getting in the forums is a great start.

*edit

Oh yeah, and don't say you hate writing about yourself. You seem like an alright guy to me going by your religion and respect statements. Whoever wants to meet you is going to want to ask about you, but might change their mind if you give off the impression that you are reluctant to provide this information whether it be written or verbally.

I took Anatomy and Physiology I and II.

For some reason I like to say, "thenar eminence". That word just cracks me up. It's fun to say.

That's not what you had in mind, was it?laugh

How long ago was that? My dad actually writes the book.

Off the top of my head, I think "sphenomandibularis" is a funny word.

slaphead I know this. I just thought it was a funny poster somewhat appropriate for the thread.

so then which is the noob and which is the oldie.
and shouldn't it read we will own you.

I suppose it could be taken a few ways if it was a picture alone. The cobra could be one bad-a$$ newb about to own the forum. It could be a newb against a gang of senior members about to get its a$$ kicked. The mongeese could be a gang of newbs about to own some snake of a member who likes to pick on them. I dunno; interpret it however you'd like.

I'm not really a newb by the way. I used to play in the games threads with you quite often under a different name. Perhaps you recognize me, perhaps not.

Wow what a great write. Brilliant. I have you down in the first issue for the magazine. Great workdrinker

I don't have a name yet for the magazine, but I was thinking of 'The Green Dragon's Tavern' since it is about sharing stories, history, games, riddles, etc. etc. and I had a rpg game going for over 2 years here on Mingle2 that entertained alot of people. Everyone would hang out in the "Green Dragon's Tavern".

I do agree that Morrowwind and Oblivion are some fantastic games to enjoy! My favorites also. I just recently bought Fable 2 and I like this game also very much.

Thank you very much. Writing helped me to take some things off my mind as well. You gave a great reason to put these thoughts elsewhere. It was my pleasure.

So that's what the Green Dragon's Tavern was all about. I never read very deeply into it but will have to take another look now. Sounds like it could be interesting.

I still haven't gotten to the end of Oblivion. Can't tell you how long I've had it or many hours I've put into that game. But every hour has been fantastic. I loved Fable before I gave my X-Box away. I wish they'd sell Fable 2 for PS3. I'd have it in no time. But I might fail at school as a result. Gotta keep my priorities straight.

I'll be keeping my eye out for related games, mags, shows, and whatnot for ya.

Take some potatoes, dice 'em, whip 'em up in a skillet, add some bacon or whatever breakfast meat is handy, whip that up, scramble the eggs, throw them on top, then melt some cheese over it and serve up to breakfast skillet meals.

And I still haven't figured out the anomaly for why good food doesn't taste as good as bad good for the majority.

You're just not cooking right or comparing the right stuff. A good homemade lean beef burger is way better than a McDonald's burger, for about the same price. Some home baked chicken breasts taste way better than the peanut oil in which they cook fried chicken. Fruit and nuts taste way better than potato chips and candy bars. Yogurt and granola tastes way better than ice cream. Fruit juice tastes way better than Kool-Aid. OK, so Kool-Aid is way cheaper than fruit juice. Other than that, these are all about the same price.

It's just a matter of the decision to stay home and prepare something decent, or drive to the local fast food joint. They take about the same effort. And they all cost about the same.

And just watching what you eat isn't going to help you lose weight. I can watch what some of these big people eat: 5 slices of pizza, a dozen hot wings, 5 cinna-twist desert sticks, and wash it down with Coca-Cola. Then I can watch what they do for the rest of the day: sit on their ***. Then when they "try" to watch what they eat, it's more like 3 slices of pizza, 8 hot wings, 2 cinna-sticks, but wait....they replace the rest with a salad doused in some low-cal dressing and diet Coke. Ooooo. Nutritious, huh? And then wha'do they do? Still sit around the house all damn day.

So, yes, the obesity problem in America is linked to most peoples' sorry-azz diets and an unwillingnewss to spend some time on their feet. There are people with genetic disorders, I'll give some that. But if those people would follow Fear's advice and quit complaining about their weight, they would attract people attracted to confidence, and maybe even get out a bit more, get a bit more active, and *gasp* burn off some calories that they aren't normally burning when they're sitting in their bedroom sulking about their genes. I'm not saying they will ever be as thin as they'd like to be, but at the very least, they will have a better time with themselves and their friends.

Yeah, I'm down. Thank you kindly for the invite. I'm honored. I am very much interested and intrigued to see how this turns out. That's quite an imagination you possess. drinker

Let's see....the guidelines:

Photo:
My main photo (the unibrow guy) is not me. The last photo in my collection is me. My face is half blacked out, but the right half looks pretty much just like the left half. Or it could be cool to have a half mask down one side of my face. Or I can put up a clear photo of myself if you wish.

Creature/Race:
Looks like Wizard is not an option, so I will go with a Wild Elf. They look like the fast, agile type that can sweep through the gargantuan trees of the enchanted forests as quickly and silently as a breeze. And to be one with nature would be a great aspect of my character.

What do I like about fantasy/fiction?:
Well, lots of things. For one thing, the world in which we live is not the beautiful place it used to be, nor is it a planet of endless possibilities of landscapes. Sure, it is still a beautiful planet in many places, but a fantasy world has so many geographic possibilities I'm sure I do not have to explain to the people of this realm in detail.

And about the people - there are so many different races and creatures that interact with methods and reason and language that humans do not. Makes for very distinctive character interaction outside the typical humanistic qualities we see on a day to day basis.

As for myself, in my fantasy experience, I can venture to any one of these various lands from the volcanic wastelands, to the shores of the vast seas, to the enchanted forests where I'd likely spend most of my time as a wild elf. It's a great way to get away from an otherwise blah life.

What is my favorite swords and sorcery type movie?
Hmmm...not gonna be very creative on this one...I reckon the Lord of the Rings trilogy. They did an excellent job of creating the mystical lands and creatures aforementioned.

What's my favorite fantasy novel?
I couldn't pick a favorite single book, but I liked reading the Terry Pratchett Discworld series. He did a good job of providing visuals and threw in a good bit of comedy.

What's my favorite fantasy computer game?
Do X-Box and PS3 count as computer games? There is none higher than the Elder Scrolls series. Those games, Morrowind and especially Oblivion, are the two most addictive games I've ever played.

What's my birthdate?
August 13th 1980, some time in the 3 o' clock hour. But you already did my reading here: http://mingle2.com/topic/show/233815
And I thank you kindly once again for that. I have it and all my other things saved. They were most excellent.

What is my favorite Holiday?
Damn, that's the toughest question so far. Um...probably Halloween. It's got some neat meanings behind it and I like the idea of my spirit going home to be fed. I'm also interested in the supernatural; and many forms of it are represented on this day. Plus it's a day on which people dress up and express creativity in the creation of their characters for the night.

What would be my desired 15th century persona?
For the choices provided and lack of any others coming to mind, I'm going to go with Sunny on this one and say an assassin. I like the thought of being fast, silent and stealthy. If clairvoyance is an option, I'll take being a seer - one who can tap into peoples' thoughts or see their visions by touching an artifact of theirs. Maybe using that to track people down to rescue or kill them, whether you choose to make me good or evil, or even give me that ability at all.

Where can you find me?
I will send you that information via Mingle mail. Or if I get the clairvoyance, I can try and send it to you telepathically. laugh

Alrighty then. I hope that's a good enough descriptor for ya, and hopefully doesn't come off as being greedy and wishing for too much of an all powerful character. And once more, I thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your magazine and look forward to seeing an issue. I wish you the best in this creation. Have you come up with a name for this magazine? drinker

Try moving to Atlanta. Women out number men by about 5 to 1. Best ratio for men in the USA. If you can't find a woman there it's your own fault.

huh

Who the heck told you that? There is only 1% more females than males here, dude.

See for yourself:

How many fish do you have now? Last I saw, you had one...a Danio. They're pretty hardy fish. I don't think a UV sterilizer is really nessecary for just a few hardy/low pollution fish.

Also, probably obvious, but make sure you keep a reading on the temperature in the tank. The water will cool on its way from the 1 gal bowl to the 14 gal tank.

Men being in their thirties? Oh no! What are they thinking? Me, I'm just gonna skip right past my thirties. Gonna go right from 29 to 41. The nerve of some people...hmph...going through their thirties like they own the world or something. Geez! They should be ashamed of themselves.
