btw - i've been through various stages. at the moment i'm kind of somewhere around stage 7 and 8. late stage marriage.
the last time i made quiche. it used up the eggs and some leftover cheese and veggies. she liked it so much i made another one. yes, i made the crust from scratch. that is as close to stage 9 as i ever got. |

before you get the kick in the nuts all you say is
Honey we have " Welsh rarebit" and make a soft scrambled egg on toast with a bit of parsley on top no one will know and you would score for being creative

Take some potatoes, dice 'em, whip 'em up in a skillet, add some bacon or whatever breakfast meat is handy, whip that up, scramble the eggs, throw them on top, then melt some cheese over it and serve up to breakfast skillet meals.

You add cheese and milk and veggies and ham and/or bacon...a tiny bit of butter...and you make an omelet big enough for the both of ya.
