All people, no matter what their religious convictions, should be more
aware of their fellow human being & what they may be experiencing within
their lives. Not trying to convert them to their way of thinking but
helping them & caring about them as a person. Contrary to popular
Christian belief, not everyone requires "saving". I find it very hard to
comprehend that billions of Buddhists & many others, who are very
grounded & holy people, are all going to "hell" because they are not
Christian. To me, that is ludicrous. Believe it or not, all of us are
not meant to be Christian.

In the past week I have:
Given a homeless person my last $20.00.
Been kind & helpful to my co-workers & everyone I have come in contact
with.
Bought an elderly lady her lunch, since she had forgotten her purse &
was unable to pay.
Loved, played with & cared for my babies (cats & dogs).
Donated toys & clothing to a Christian Charity organization.

Basically, I have been me! I do not need a reward or a pat on the back
to be kind, helpful or to just do the right thing.

I would never want to be famous. They live a public life & I enjoy my
privacy way too much for that.

Awesome concept!! The best thread I have seen in this forum so far!!
Keep it up. Wouldn't mind being a "member" even though I worship nothing
& I am not much of a follower. Cudos on starting an all beliefs thread
where everyone can be themselves & not get beheaded for it.

Just the thought of maybe, possibly having a weekend night off. But then
I come to the sad realization that it's just not going to happen any
time soon. And then I get ready for work.

I am probably the furthest from being Christian & post here often. From
what I have read here, most Christians do not follow blindly & are
intelligent, well-spoken individuals. Of course there are exceptions in
any walk of life & this place is no different. I also have many friends
who follow paths other than mine & we get along great as we respect each
other & learn a lot from our differences & similarities.

Married for 20+ years. Engaged for 4 years, that ended about 2 years
ago. Nothing serious since & not planning on anything serious any time
soon, if ever.

Chevy Beretta....love my car...named The Phantom, since it always has
phantom issues. Soon to be traded for something that makes people think
twice before they pull out in front of me!!
The classy & very intimidating H2.

bored*** I started working & dealing with the public at the age of 12,
so I guess it is just second nature for me. I rarely get nervous talking
with anyone.

Because I do not
worship the devil, if you ever read anything you would know I am a
Wiccan not a Satanist.

The majority of Satanists do not worship the "devil", nor do they
believe in the "devil". Actually Satanists, for the most part, do not
worship anything.

I couldn't resist, it was the first thing that popped into my mind when
I read the thread. They are beyond hilarious...I love all their
stuff......too funny those guys. Life of Brian ruffled some feathers,
but that's one of the best things about comedy, it is
non-discriminatory!!

I talk with a lot of people for a living, so it has always been easy for
me to speak in front of a group, whether it is 3 people or 300 people.
They are just people, human like we are. I tend to find the friendliest
faces to make eye contact with.

I am sure you will do great! I am not sure who thought of this, but
think of everyone listening sitting there in there underwear & it may
help put you at ease speaking in front of a large group. As long as you
don't laugh too much at the isea of it!
