... possess, ... even worship... I find these terms abhorrent when referring to a healthy relationship. I believe these ideas lead to abusive relationships. They remind me of power and control which is central to abuse. |

I have made it a point to avoid using the word girls and boys and use women and men. I believe it allows us to denigrate the sexes. |

I use the web browser interface. It sounds like you are using a phone app.
I see some changes is how my email is displayed but no functional difference. Just new facades. I don't trust Java on my PDA so I won't use most apps. |

I would like to say to all the ladies and gents out there if you have no information in your profile how is a person supposed to start a conversation with you? Starting a conversation usually starts over a common interest or perhapse a witty comment in your profile. but under intrests if it says I'll tell you later and under introduction it just says HI!! and nothing else is filled out how do you expect for someone to think hey i like the way this person thinks or hey i do that too even if we dont click as more then friends at least we can hang out together.. the only thing you leave a person to go on it your photo and ladies most of you dont want to be looked at just for looks and guys it is not always good to be looked at like a slab of meat.. show some substance fill out the profile so we can all chat and have fun!!! I understand your issue. I choose to have profile that is complete and full for all to know about me and what I desire. I also choose to be part of the forums to build relationships. This reflects my behavior outside of the online world. If I see a profile that is incomplete, I pass and move on. If I see someone post an interesting message, I look at their profile to understand who they are and really know them just as I would if we met in real life. I did a lot of this before I started to contribute my $0.02 out of respect. I continue to do this as you will see I looked at your profile to understand you and your words better. It is just who I am. Teal and others are correct. It is their choice to look to the forums for building relationships. I fully support them as I know that women are more likely to be harassed and receive unsolicited messages. It is just an unfortunate fact. |

I generalize that all wars are evil and destructive. Troops are sent to fight in them. They know exactly what they are signing up for. Very well put. Those who enlist for military service make a choice to part of something that inherently destructive. It can be sugar-coated by such programs as Toy For Tots or by sending in the military to help after a disaster. A long time ago I made a choice not to be part of an engineering industry that was responsible for war materials. |

I do hope every woman and man is respected and cherished for who they are every day no matter what the calendar says. We will evolve to that as we teach our children to respect and love each other equally. We need to reject the pervasive sexism.
I hope that I have achieved a balance in raising my child though I understand they are highly influenced by the media to believe otherwise. Just go to Toy's R Us and see the contrast in children's toys. You can see one side of the aisle in pink and red while the other side is blue and black. We instill a sense of separation rather than inclusion from the very beginning of our lives by putting boys in a blue blanket and girls in red. |

Women have that special quality that no man can ever posess or understand....that emotional / psychological chemistry....they can make a house into a home with their touch...they play a major role of wives, sisters, mothers & so on & they create life....they make the home a better place with their love & care & compassion....they can lift your spirits when all hope is lost & can be there for you & make you happy....when they truly love, consider yourself the luckiest man....the world would be lost without women but for me i only seek 1 special woman....i love women theyre the most complex & unique creation of God that need to always be cherished, respected, valued & treated like Queens. Well said ((UnknownRomeo)). They are the yin of our yang and we will cherish that which they bring to our lives. Especially the gift of a new life.
