Santa can be disproven, God cannot.

Santa can no more be disproven than God can ..Santa is a world wide belief

Not only is it rude to tell people their God doesn't exist, I think its against forum rules, but again what do I know.

so what if someone believes Santa is God aren't you trying to tell people Santa doesn't exist and can be disproven ....so "Chaszter" stop crying moderators tears

<----i agree with funches on this one

Satellites, thermal vision, etc. We could scan the north pole and tell if someone was living there. You could also prove if some unknown person is delivering presents or not.

On another note, I tell people whether or not I believe God exists. I have no problem with people telling me they believe otherwise, but saying telling me as an affirmative that he doesn't exist is rude.

so explain why we can't use that same technology to scan for God and Heaven and you will have your answer why it can't be used to scan for Santa ....

well "Chazster"...God may exist as your delusion because you can't prove it beyond that

To state it must be proven to be true is "an argument to ignorance"

To state it as a delusion is a misuse of the word delusion.

God is said to live in Heave, a spiritual place set apart from the material world, Santa is said to live in the North Pole. We can go to the north pole, we know where it is. We have no idea how to go to Heaven so I am not following your logic.

It is very difficult to get to the real north pole because the magnetic forces mess with compasses and airplane detecting equipment. Beside, Santa has a cloaking device.

You can believe in Santa or God if you want, but you cannot prove that something or someone does not exist.

So Funches, you cannot prove God or Santa does not exist any more that you can prove that they do, so the argument is a mote point. Proof is a matter of evidence and then only if the people you are trying to prove it to accept the evidence as proof. So proof is a matter of belief.

To make the statement that God does in fact exist and lives in Heaven is meaningless if you do not have proof to back it up. But to say that you believe this is true or at least possible is just stating a belief.

The other way around is to state that Heaven does not exist hence no entity calling himself or herself God lives there, is also meaningless if you cannot prove otherwise.

Things can exist that we cannot see or prove. Other dimensions exist according to some scientists. The particle has been said to exist, yet no one has ever seen one, they just assumed it existed. Turns out, the particle could be a standing wave, and not a physical particle at all.

because Santa is God and lives in a spirtual world and only comes around once a year ...and besides every year multitudes of people tell of seeing Santa and his sleigh on their roof and the radar even charts which parts of the world Santa and rudolph are by scanning rudolph red nose ....even the post office delivers mail to Santa to the north pole .. so where does the post office send God's mail ...so now "Chazster" see Santa has been proven to exist or are all those people lieing?

People also claim to have seen big foot, tracks have been found, pictures taken. That doesn't mean it is proof.

Nowhere in Santa lore, have I ever heard that he is God or lives in a spiritual world.

I will ,however, give the lady her cloaking device idea if that device can block out thermal detection as well.

laugh laugh laugh

Actually I was watching a program on T.V where the DNA of a bigfoot was confirmed to be not a human or a bear, but some kind of primate, yet not one of our known primates. The DNA was in between primate and human. That seems like proof enough, but science requires a little more, perhaps a body or more DNA samples from other places.
