The majority of mexican illegals, and I know many FIRST HAND are hard
working (really *hard working*) people who are usually VERY catholic,
very quiet, respectful, and do their best to remain low key.

Tell you what, I am all for having a neighbor that has the courage and
ability to:

1. Risk-it-all to come to my country,
2. Be unable to speak the language yet work whatever job they can
3. Be completely at the mercy of asshole employers who will cheat them,
and knowing they can't rely on a justice system to enforce any kinds of
fair treatement, and work without complaint

THATS the kind of person I can tolerate, thats the kind of person that
keeps the American dream alive.

i know here in michigan alot of mexian people work in the fields and i
think its a good thing for all.

1) ILLEGAL ALIENS are commiting a crime. any race...mexican, peruvian,
chinese, korean, cuban. they are here, as they are rightfully named,
ILLEGALLY
2) illegal labor is a much cheaper than any legal worker here in the
united states. and that is what the companies look at their bottom line.
if the governtment really thought this was a problem. they would fine
those large corporations that hire them.
3)Illegal aliens are not ruining the economy. on fact, do to their low
incomes and lack of forsight. most live for the next day. therefore, any
income they may have is directly poured back into the american economy
as purchases by the illegals. they do not make as much money of the
american economy as a legal american does who invests in the economy and
gains interest on his money.
4) illegal aliens, as do poor people. breed more often that wealthy
people. thereby, creating a legal, poor working base that maintains the
comfort of lifestyles of the upper and middle class (which continuously
grow, though percentage wise these classes are getting smaller)
5) in conclusion, stop *****in about the illegals. get yourself an
education. and get a job. because if you are haggling with an illegal
immigrant about a job they took away from U. U obviously did something
wrong in your life and YOU are the one to blame for it. NOT the ILLEGAL

The aliens I meet here all seem to be decent people. I know there are
exceptions, but there are exceptions with the people who live here
legally. I do have the sense that our neighbors in Mexico have more
regard for the lives and rights of others than the people who set the
examples in the middle east. We should be glad for their participation
in the American dream, and hope that the rest of the world follows suit,
trying to work hard, build better lives for themselves and their
families. The alternative chosen in third world countries too often is
hate and selfishness. As for the labor issue, I personally am not hiring
illegals, but I can tell you that the caliber of worker I get often
includes laziness and unreliability. If they were legal, I think I would
be better off with them than with the workers I find now. So to me its
not who's jobs they are taking, but why are the local workers I find so
bad and how can I get them to be better, or how can I make a few
illegals legal so I can hire them. For the record the congress passed
strict laws many years ago prohibiting employers from hiring illegals. I
find it odd that people ignore the laws and to it anyway. To me, I think
you have to be careful with your choices, there can be hell to pay when
the bill is due.

Today it's the Mexican's, tomorrow it will be the Asian's. Well, the
politicians would much rather create a political platform on a group of
indigenous people who sneak their way across a river in their attempt to
better their way of life. The funny thing is, is that the best Idea that
they can come up with is to build a wall. The idea sounds familiar to
me; History does repeat itself. The problem now is, Who will build the
wall? The "Mexican" problem will not go away in the same way that the
"Colored" problem was never controlled. At the least, it's a good
interesting topic to chat about until the next problem comes along.
I tell you what though, I'd much rather have a Mexican SNEAK into this
country to work in the fields and hold a job no one else wants than to
have some Immigrant who arrives here on a work/college Visa and holds a
white collar job; Who together with his other ACCEPTABLE IMMIGRANTS are
creating plans on how to destroy America.
