Do you think that people should use webcams to pre meet so to speak prior to meeting in person?? - nothing dirty just to see each other while you talk kind of thing...

As long as both parties are ok with it. I think it can help you decide wht you think about the other.

yes I do. I always like to see a person when I am talking to them. I like to see their eyes and facial reations, helps get to know them better

I dont think it matters, after all if and when I decide to meet someone I have spoken with them and some sort of friendship must be present. While looks are nice, they are not a detriment to a true friendship. Must be my friend before ya can be anything else. jmo

Cams are cheap at Walmart ...

yes it is a good idea i have one and if they dont they better get on becuse i will not meet them otherwise.

Cams are cheap at Walmart ... no cam doesn't always mean they don't want you to see how they look I think it depends on the level of trust you have. It takes time for me to let someone see me on cam.

I think this is wise, when possible. Always nice to see how someone reacts to you, and definately to know if they are who they claim to be. We all dislike that 10 year old pic....LOL

I think it takes some of the stress off of the first meeting as well... cuz it's almost like you already have. You know there won't any surprises.

Must be my friend before ya can be anything else. jmo I agree with the fact the inside is important but true friendships cannot be based on lies .. lies about looks are included in that .. if someone needs to lie I don't want to mess with them .. It is not the looks that I am focusing it not the looks that I am focusing on , it is the truth and how comfortable that person is with who they really are ...

I know that a lot of folks are going to be like not neccesary but I am thinking yeah it is .. I have heard some ridiculous tales out here , that don't even make sense but I don't call them on thier obvious lie I just chalk it up to this is someone I am not interested in being friends with..
