Hey all,
I put this in the religous chat because this is what i'm worried about spiratually. If you look at who is running for our presidency(obama a muslim) the fact that he is a muslim shouldn't matter right? Well i think it does...think about it. Where have most of the 'holy wars' come from? from muslim/judeism fighting over 'holy' ground right? The bible states the Isreal is where god's chosen people die and it makes it clear that they will not fall again. WHAT IF...What if obama decided to get involved in the holy wars over their on the base of 'creating peace'? Using the US's power to try to persuade isreal...even though they are our allies. I think the only reason the US has survived this long is because we WHERE "one nation under god" and we were allied with God's chosen people...what happens when we are no longer allies with them? and given the religous aspect in Isreal...even if Obama didn't get involved over there would they want to remain allies with a country who's head hancho is a muslim? just something that i started to think about...it could set off the next world war...just my opinion |

obama gets my vote, he's a great man and this country was founded on freedom of religion. look at Bush straight up christian right? So whats the death toll now after his 8 years? not to mention the price of living.

I don't know where you got your info, but you are flat wrong. You can debate spirituality and government till you are blue in the face, but Obama is NOT Muslim. He is in fact a Christian. You can see information on this on his official website:

Whatever, I never hear you have one postive thing to say about anyone Kasey! You are one the most negative peeps on here. It is a matter of fact, a good possibility that could happen. It is sort of like the Roman's force feeding catholicism down the world's throat in the early A.D. period's. Many were crucified for thier belief's. And as far as you go Kasey, "Let he without sin cast the first stone!" I doubt very seriously you could even come close to that. Let the man think what he wants without putting him down. |

Said prior to his election, so I take people saying they are gonna get us out this war and lower gas prices with a grain of salt. Politician's lie, lie lie! |

dude you missed the point. quoting some sterotype saying is not the answer.
my point was the man was claiming to be a "christain" and then proceded to slam a person who may or may not be a muslim. personally i know a few muslims. they are fine people. you can find extremists in any nationality, religion, sex or lifestyle. as far as obama, he is a much better alternative to what we have now. |

O' I dont disagree with you on the fact Obama might be better than Bush. Hell, I think Just about anyone would be better than Bush. I much would of rather had Gore. But, fact remains the same. The guy makes a valid point that if we lost Israel as an Ally, We may find ourselves in a pickle. I just don't think he meant anything by the topic. Taken a little out of context. He wasn't saying Muslim religion is wrong or Christianity is right. Just that God's chosen people were the Israelites and that was it. I have no idea who I am gonna vote for. Crap I may vote for McCain. |

I'm not to much into this.the bible does state that this system of things will come to an end. but to me,its all screwy.a lady president or a musilm? either way,who ever wins...I think it will just fulfill the bibles phrobecy. |

Christianity has killed in the name of God too, not just muslims. Matter of fact so has most popular american religions, so don't generalize. Don't we live in the land of the free? Freedom of religion? Who cares if he is muslim, respect his belief it is the american way. Much rather him fight a war in the idea of peace than fight a war with a country for really not much reason other than daddy couldn't finish it.
Besides aren't these kind of broad generalizations based on a event that hasn't even occured yet? Every president screws up, the way I figure it we can't go too wrong with Obama he seems to be the main canidate for the people...of course this is a religious argument so this will just turn tale and start over again. |

...you are putting all non-christains in a box. if there is a god, then surely he will get you. ....and then proceded to slam a person who may or may not be a muslim. personally i know a few muslims. they are fine people. you can find extremists in any nationality, religion, sex or lifestyle. i never slammed anybody, i was simply stating a fact that at least in todays society. the majority or wars are between muslim/judeaism granted there have been holy wars based on christianity in the past and there are still deaths going on in the "name of lord" but the most PREVELANT right now is judeaism/muslim i didn't slam obama at all...i merely stated a what if, being the Isreal is a HUGE ally. and Yes i am a christian and i'm not afraid to say it and i do beleive the bible and the bible states that isreal will not fall....so if we go to war with them....we WILL lose. Yes i know it may be far off, i was merely stating a what if. you will notice that if you read my post again. And about the "bad luck" i personally don't beleive bad luck is just luck when it's almost everyone i talk to. There is a MASSIVE spiritual battle going on right now and some of us are feeling it and some of us aren't and yes i'm aware this might make me sound like a nut case to you. But that is fine with me. I'll pray for you

How much clearer can the man be, he says he is a Christian. He attends a Christian church. This is main reason I've been so far supporting Clinton. Because I see what the right is giong to do with race if Obama wins. But right now, I'm starting to re-think this. There is something very speical about this guy. I hope at least he will be VP. After the 7 years of like and theiving in under the name of Christianity, not to mention professing Christians being pro-torture, it makes me wonder why anyone listens to anything the right has to say at all anymore! |

The death toll in Iraq is far less than the death toll on American highways in one year. Would you rather we fight terrorism on our land?
