The most incredible words of insult (OR I think) praise is "You are SUCH a Human Being!"
If you hear that quote, where does it take you first? |

You really read into stuff dontcha.
Seems normal to me ;-) |

Of course we natives of planet Melmac consider it an insult to be compared to you Humans.

comes from the yiddish phrase, "to be a mensch", or be a human, I believe.

I admire you human beings (and you too, Dodo) so MUCH after reading into it by any translation!

"Beachfarmer", give an example where the phrase is meant as an insult.

Human Beings often succumb to peer pressure even when they internally, morally know the actions are wrong.

I'd prolly have a blank look on my face if someone said that as I wouldn't have a clue how to take it or what was meant by it.
Kinda like when someone would start to talk to you in Russian or Chinese or a local dialect you do not understand. I have had the latter in the area I live in. ![]() Makes me think "WTF are you going on about?" hihi On a good day it'd be "WTH are you going on about?" ![]() |

I adore your views Crystal, whether you use the "F" word or "H" word. I guess after reading your reply, it is more than just the inflection in a language and cadence you are familiar with.
In the language I am familiar with it is also about an adjective before a noun. From what I have read through the years I believe you to be a "good" Human Being! |

Human Beings often succumb to peer pressure even when they internally, morally know the actions are wrong.
In that case, for an insult maybe say "you are such IMMORAL human beings!" |
