It started to rain around 8.30am, and it's not stopped if only drizzle before rain again, it's only 3.45 pm but it has gone dark already. Around 8c but feels colder in the wind, it's certainly been onE of those cold, miserable, wet and windy January days in the UK.

Today is very much better, the sun is shining and the sky is blue, temperature around 10c but there is a bit of a breeze, that's UK weather, changeable.

10C sunny, lots of blue sky, but this afternoon it'll get cloudy.
In the evening rain, possible hail and thunder, wind gets strong -7 Beaufort- with heavy storm gusts of 10 Beaufort.

What a day yesterday. Persistent heavy rain and strong winds which brought down a few trees. Many roads in the region are still closed mostly due to flooding but today it’s a lot calmer. Let the clean up operation begin!

5C overcast and rain. Later tonight the wind will get stronger again.

Next to my house there's a bit of a dip in the paving, and that runs underneath the gate as well. That dip is full up with water. Garden is soaked too, puddles etc.

Last night temps dropped. Not sure how much but I could feel it indoors, brrr!!

The wind has indeed picked up significantly! It has been storming outside for hours now.
It should get a little bit less after midnight, but it's only 21.30 now.
It's howling around the house (semi-detached).

They put new windows in 1,5 years ago, didn't have that before. I will contact council about it as I find it concerning, and highly annoying. I recorded it just now.

Feels like -3C even though it's 4C right now, because of the cold wind.

I do hope it gets less after midnight. And it'll be cold in my bedroom. Always the case with NW wind. Last night it was like a fridge in there too!

The sun is shining in a cloudless blue sky, it reached -7c overnight but has now reached 0c, forecast maximum 3c today with a gentle breeze. A beautiful day for January, now the frost has gone.
