Gusty winds at 40 to 50 mph  and about 2 inches of snow! I’m ready for summer now

 Some clouds, wind has pretty much died down. Was quite strong last night, pfff... I was thinking how happy I am with the extra pole behind the gates! Really glad I got that done. Makes a difference, certainly for my peace of mind, haha. |

It's a big mess out there. Raining on top of snow. No sun at all. 35f but the temperature will drop very quickly so that will all be ice and snow.

9C dull overcast, showers & drizzle. Strong wind of 6-7 Beaufort, in the evening & night storm gusts of 9-10 Beaufort.
Storm season -which seems to have become an annual thing- has arrived early, although it's just the prelude. The bummer is that it's always bad at night so I can't see how much the extra pole is improving the situation, or not. In other words: do I still need to put a strap on the gates or not? I have no idea. I decided to just do it. |
