Lots of local flooding and I’ve never seen so much rain fall as it’s torrential. It’s supposed to ease off by late afternoon. I’m just thankful I live on a slight hill. |

It’s easing off somewhat now but still raining. At least it’s no longer torrential Thank goodness for that! We had severe rain here where I live in 2013 and 2015. Since this area is flat water stays in place and I had the entire garden flooded with 10-15cm of water a couple of times. If I'd had a pond with fish they would've simply flooded away to lord knows where to then die once the water disappears again. I'd never seen anything like that before. Haven't had that since, so maybe they improved the way they pump away water or we simply haven't had that severe rain since 2015. |

And hopefully you’ll never see it like that again 🤞 I did my grocery shopping at 5am and I’m so glad I went early because by 9am the road to the supermarket was flooded and it’s now closed off. |

Hopefully everything will be accessible again soon! No idea how long that tends to take.

Drizzle I miss the snow/ice we used to get in the 70s. |

51F/10.6C Drizzle I miss the snow/ice we used to get in the 70s. So it's also warmer where you are. Same here, 16C. Personally I'm not sure whether I miss snow & ice & cold. We have a sea climate meaning cold feels colder, different, than in a land climate. Friend of mine told me that after she'd emigrated to Sweden. Her ailments don't bother her there when it's cold (sometimes -30C!) while when it's -10C or -5C over here it used to always give her great trouble. -30C in Sweden feels better than -10C here. In any case, I still have the black ice in mind we had earlier this month and painfully falling to the pavement. Not keen on having that again, really treacherous! So I think I'm going for warmer hihi. |

Even when it's some 14C it is really cold because the wind is so strong and very cold. No way would I keep warm with my in between coat. |

9C clouds but also sun! Then rain from dark blue-gray clouds that seemed to hover in the air, on the other side pink clouds from the setting sun :)
Felt quite cold when I was out so I've been wearing my newly knitted Fair Isle woolly hat :D |
