I guess summer isn't really happening in Scotland this year... what a bummer!
Amazing how much of a difference it can make to be more to the south or more up north. We're having the best summer in ages, England too from what I hear. Yet Scotland is left out of that scope.
I guess you're more in sync with the more north-western regions of Europe like Iceland & Norway? Get the weather and winds from there?

Weather here has been abysmal all in all but saying that it’s not been a wet summer so that’s something to be thankful for.

Scotland is warmed by the Gulf Stream from the Atlantic and given its northerly latitude it is much warmer than areas on similar latitudes. Not sure what’s happened this year but most everyone is having weird weather

Last night when I closed the curtains I saw this damp layer on top of the lawn and realised that summer has gone. The peak of summer is over. Suddenly from one day to the next we seem to have shifted into late summer/early autumn. I could just feel it. The energy has changed.

Really weird as a week ago it was full summer and summer energy. And in the blink of an eye that has changed. Even if we get more sunny days, the peak has gone.

Bit of a boohoo feeling with that as I was thoroughly enjoying it, even though the heatwave we had was very intense.
