Ábout to eat my birthday cake with strawberries when my daughter phoned again. She got sent from pillar to post in hospital, met a very rude surgeon that said it was an emergency, full anaesthetic, then sent her home without treatment? WTF?

Thank you, girls! In itself I'm having a good day for sure! Put up some bunting, bought myself the strawberry pie and flowers :D Celebration will come later when both my mum & daughter have recovered. @ Delightful, my daughter managed to phone the GP, but has to wait till tomorrow. The problem was she needs surgery but she'd eaten. So I told her to phone as soon as she's awake in the morning to ask when she can come in. Healthcare clearly has gone down the drain, pffff... The poor thing has a fever due to inflammation so it's an emergency according to GP, yet no fixed appointment. She was crying on the phone just now. Hopefully it will work out tomorrow and there's another surgeon on call, not the jerk she had today!
