Hope your arm feels better soon. Ice it a little, it helps! That was my arm after the 4 Covid dose!! I didn’t have any issues with the other doses! Thanks! It's still a bit swollen believe it or not! And a bit sore still too. But I think a little less today. The dude who gave me the shot hit me real good, grrr... I've had a tetanus booster before and don't recall having that problem then. But one cannot be certain as that was some 15 yrs ago. |

now I am thinking about my tetanus shot...got to remind my doc..as its nearly 10 years since my last one .... i see him May end ....

now I am thinking about my tetanus shot...got to remind my doc..as its nearly 10 years since my last one .... i see him May end .... So you get it just like that? Over here you only get it if there was some incident like getting bitten or a wound caused by something potentially dirty (outdoors). So not automatic boosters every 10 years. Which in a way is weird considering the severity of it. On the other hand side, it doesn't happen all that often. |

The last tetanus shot I got was about 12 years ago when I cut my finger on the lid of a can that I was opening. I had to get 3 stitches on my finger. I think they were being overly cautious.

now I am thinking about my tetanus shot...got to remind my doc..as its nearly 10 years since my last one .... i see him May end .... So you get it just like that? Over here you only get it if there was some incident like getting bitten or a wound caused by something potentially dirty (outdoors). So not automatic boosters every 10 years. Which in a way is weird considering the severity of it. On the other hand side, it doesn't happen all that often. yes, i don't know about others, but my Doc gives me the shot every 10 years regardless .... saves me the trouble of seeking treatment every other month .... as I tend to take on all the dangerous jobs.... ha ha!!! |

I think they were being overly cautious. i cut my palm while slicing a pineapple the other day , and then yesterday I cut two fingers on a saw blade that did not stop fast enough for me.... all accidents .... luckily not major ... but definitely tetanus shot worthy .... |

Yeah, it usually depends what you cut yourself with and how long ago your last tet shot was. But in a way better overly cautious than not. There is no cure, so if you'd happen to develop it you're effed. |
