Thinking Kit better watch out for attacking palmetto bugs on the loose. Wanna borrow some Raid?

Thinking they laugh at raid, need super industrial strength to kill them... Nasty things, not in my house....
Now lizards are another thing dang cat keeps bringing them in to play with

Thinking what is it with kitties that they have to play with bugs? Your lizards are palmetto bugs without wings.

Thinking... having 2 things fail on me in one day is more than enough. Actually it's 2 things too much!!
First the coffee machine just stopped working. Okay, I suspected that day coming so not a real surprise. Ordered another one.

Then just now wanting to close the rolling blind and the entire damned thing comes sailing down, and my li'l Nila has one sleeping basket right there so she stormed off in total panic.
I knew I should've checked that damned blind out as it was acting up the last few days, but I forgot. Sod's law.
But I didn't want a black gaping hole so I needed to fix it. Stairs, drill, glasses, then the poxy reading glasses (I hate those!). Fixed it, properly as well with a wall piece from another roller blind. Then getting the roll back in place by yourself...
THAT was fun!

But I did it!
Nila is now sleeping on my feet. I'm quite certain she thinks, "Sod that basket over there! I ain't going there no more!"
She had a real good scare, poor thingie.

Thinking I have to give up on watching baseball. All the many channels on tv I can watch, and they rarely show baseball games.

I'm Thinking that tomorrow I will be hanging out in Berlin

I have the same problem. Last year I hardly watched baseball at all. This year I see ESPN has it so I may catch a few games. So unfair, it should be free like football. I can see lots of that, but idc about fb really.

Thinking... I've had enough unexpected sort of emergency chores the last day for the next 20 years or so, hihi.
Just now discovered a minor moisture absorber flooding so I had to take care of that. Oh, I was so in the mood for that That stuff is sticky as bleep!
But while I was at it I changed all 4 absorbers, mopped the floor where the flooding had occurred, and now all done.
Now for cooking...

Thinking... almost 20.00 and time for 2 minutes silence for Remembrance Day.
I will refrain from typing too. Really 2 minutes for all who gave their lives for our freedom today

Ha! Me phoning about my mattress paid off: it's going to be delivered Tuesday! I even managed to get delivery after 10. Otherwise it'd be somewhere after 7 in the morning. 7 in the morning????? Nuts!!

Also phoned the GP practice assistant about sending me new nicotine patches. I'm fed up with it, coughing like an idiot.

So things are working out, except for my gorgeous vivianite crystal set from Australia. That's still stuck at the airport in Melbourne
