I've always like dancing! I never cared for going to a pub and sitting/standing there, nor have I ever had an interest in drinking.
I want to dance! What else is the point of going out!! When a teenager I was shy and didn't get on the dancefloor first, but later on I was often the first. I have even been the only one dancing. I'd closed my eyes and let myself move to the rhythm, totally enthralled by the music. When I opened my eyes I had quite the audience, hahaha. I had not expected that, I hadn't even noticed the pub getting busier. And still, whenever I went out to the music café with live music I went to dance. The lockdown put a stop to that last year. The café had to close its doors... :/ I don't think I ever went to places where you couldn't dance. When home I often start dancing spontaneously, and the Secret world live gig from Peter Gabriel always does the trick for me. But also other music I like. |

That’s a sexy, sultry song there. I’d dance to that. You can leave your hat on by Joe Cocker, also good! 🥰

I love dancing .
I used to go to a lot of raves , underground ( illegal ) parties. , festivals etc and dance all night . But since my accident that badly bust me up , I can’t do that . But I did go to a gif last week and manage to sort it bop about abut which was giicc so but seeing all the others dancing their heads off , I felt so jealous abd frustrated and just wanted to join them . But where ever I am and I hear music I bop about to it which my kids hate and always telling me to stop . but it’s music . Can’t help but move about to when I hear it |

My best friend and I when we were teenagers used to lock the bedroom door and dance all night. We were sneaking into nightclubs when only 15 just to dance lol. |

I am unaware of your accident, but I am sorry that happened to you, whatever it was. Keep bopping, I will too. I think they will have to tie me down in a retirement village |

Seeing this topic title and immediately I think of Tai Chi.
And I see how I get there: doing Tai Chi gets me totally in touch with my body, moving, coordinating moves, control & discipline, enjoying moving, feeling the energy flow within because of it. It's almost like a dance in itself! When I was still doing Tai Chi I danced more too. Just when walking to the kitchen, doing things in the kitchen, dancing from cooker to fridge and back and so on. I never thought about that! Maybe other sports have the same effect. For me it was Tai Chi for sure. |

I love dancing and have zero qualms dancing alone.

I'm tone deaf when it comes to both singing and dancing, it's not pretty. This isn't false modesty either, it's not pretty. I'll get out there though and give it my best shot.
