Dusty Hill passed away in his sleep at 72.
I hope he made a peaceful transition.

I was just up there at Sturges like 2 weeks ago and saw the billboard saying ZZTop had a concert scheduled like next week. I know they had somebody replacing him at the Illinois fairgrounds in like a week so maybe they'll play up there in S.D. too.

Yikes they are scheduled here at the Casino this weekend, tickets sold out in 20 minutes! RIP! I can believe that! They were scheduled to play pretty close to me in Charleston WV sometime in Nov. Would’ve loved to have gone to see them again, but the tickets were kinda pricey  ..... I just wonder what they’re going to do now

ZZ Top have cancelled their upcoming show tonight (July 28) in Simpsonville, S.C. following the death of the late legendary bassist Dusty Hill. .... It is unclear whether the band will carry on with the tour and find a permanent fill-in for Hill, or if they will cancel it. Stay tuned for any further updates. |

I heard he went back to Texas because of his hip issue and the very next day he passed. I assume we'll hear what happen in the next few days. I just heard an interview on the radio today with him and when they asked him what the bands best song was, his reply was LaGrange. |

ZZ Top one of the few hot bands ever that no kid born in the 2000s has any idea about.All they know is Chris Brown & the horrible music of Justin Timberlake as well as awful remixes of good 70s-90s music. No one knows how to write songs anymore. Everybody's too lazy doing awful remixes of timeless classics.
