That is your opinion not everyone's. They are only defending themselves from the rockets fired into Israel.

. Terrorism and war share a commonality ., the killing of innocent people but the motivation and intention behind each is usually different . Usually in war .. death is seen as collateral damage whereas terrorism targets innocent people intentionally .

I Will never condone acts of war or terrorism .. I support peace and my heart goes out to anyone caught up in a war not of their making .

War is never a good thing for men, women, and children. Stop the war. Stop the killing. It's that simple.

There's a great docu on "The Holy land" by Rick Steves on YouTube. It's on Israel and Palestine.

As he says in that docu, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter."

I was not impressed by what I've seen, how the Palestines are made to live, the wall that was built, how Israel builds towns/cities on the land of Palestine.

I loved the feel of Palestine, how the people are, just the vibe of the place! I wouldn't mind visiting it.
But... you cannot even fly to Palestine???
You HAVE to go through Israel. What kind of effed up thing is that? Cut off from the rest of the world. THAT I do consider an act of terrorism.
I never was a fan, but watching this docu left a taste of disgust in my mouth.

I wouldn't say terrorist state, but certainly a country that has a serious superiority complex that went to its head.
You'd expect a people that has such a difficult past of oppression to have gotten wiser and to understand you can not ever treat a people that way.
But it seems they have learnt nothing.

It takes reasonableness and humanity on both sides to stop a war.

If my people had to live in poverty, forced to live behind a 708 km long wall with checkposts, having your only airport taken away, forbidden access to certain things like the Dead Sea that borders on their lands, etc etc... if I had to live that way I'd start chucking bombs too, as often as I could.
And the Palestinians don't even have the resources to do anything much whereas Israel has full access to whatever the heck they want to, and have fancy weapons and bombs, and loads of them too.

Both sides have suffered tremendously and the only way to sort this is if both sides put down their grievances -not just one- and start being human and act from the heartspace.

Israel defending itself against an attack launched by Hamas, a terrorist organization, doesn't make it a terrorist state. Hamas started launching missiles at Israel locations occupied by INNOCENT men, women and children, they ARE the aggressors.

Hamas launches and stores their missiles in locations that are occupied by men, women and children who they are using them as shields. Israel is ONLY targeting locations from which Hamas is launching missiles, not arbitrary locations.

Israel is using their Iron Dome defense system to stem the flow of missiles Hamas is launching at places with innocent Israeli people, they aren't targeting Israeli military locations. Hamas has NO defense system in place because defending lives, Palestinian lives, is not their objective. Their only objective is KILLING Jews and destroying Israel.

Those are facts.

Hamas has the blood of INNOCENT Israeli and Palestinian people on their hands which is obviously something they DON'T care about.

What I've seen in that docu I mentioned earlier, Palestinians WANT peace. But when the Israelis were asked they didn't seem bothered one bit.
Logical as they live in luxury while oppressing the people that lived in the country before them.

I would also recommend a documentary by Simon Reeve. He visited Palestine and shows, how the people of Palestine are treated. Limited access to basic needs, such as water and electricity, whereas Israeli settlements just behind the highly protected border, flourish.

Totally agree.
But at the same time I do not expect that most Americans will start seeing this as they've been spoon-fed pro-US media and propaganda, and that goes hand in hand with pro-Israel stuff.
The US won't change that as they have too much to gain from their alliance with Israel. Business investments have been made, which is smart of the US as that way they'll keep their stronghold in the Middle-East which makes it easier for them to exert power in that region.

All that doesn't make it right that in this day and age a people is oppressed and has to undergo horrific circumstances.
And like you say, Israel just takes more and more of what was agreed to be Palestinian land.

i was evicted twice from property , I thought I had bought and occupied, legally.... I had to go live with my parents... again !
I let the lawyers sort it out , peacefully.... someone had not done a property search in detail....
The point is .... there is peaceful ways to end conflict....
In this area of the world dirty politics is the name of the game.... unfortunately!!! IMHO !!!
