Scarlet - 2020 - Does not deserve the 5.0 rating. 3.0 would be more indicative of what it's like.
If you want to watch something when tired or just to kill time, watch it. If you want to see something good, with decent fighting and action, skip it. It's pretty crap to be honest. I skipped a big chunk just to see the last few minutes. Couldn't bear to watch it anymore. Also, the woman playing the college girl part is 33, and she looks it too. Even got smokers lines on her upper lip. I thought she was 40 hihi. Badly cast. |

I watched "The boy in the stripped pajamas", about a boy who's father is a German officer in WW II. They live in a nice house not far from the camp his father is the commandant of, he makes friends with a boy inside the camp and they pass things between them through a hole under the wire. One day the Jewish boy gives the German boy a pair of pajamas and he crawls under the wire and into the camp and that day they are all gathered and get gassed. The boy's father after searching for the missing boy gets there (the camp) a few minutes too late.

An apocalyptic film where noone can sleep, therefore they go crazy. |

OT - anyone know which movie this is: on an ice age, people living underground, only a few communities left. At some point a few people need to go from theirs to the other community they know of, spend the night halfway there in a van or something. I believe there's then talk of a place that's still green and liveable. So not The Day after Tomorrow. I can't for the love of god think of the title of this one. |

OT - anyone know which movie this is: on an ice age, people living underground, only a few communities left. At some point a few people need to go from theirs to the other community they know of, spend the night halfway there in a van or something. I believe there's then talk of a place that's still green and liveable. So not The Day after Tomorrow. I can't for the love of god think of the title of this one. Sounds like a movie with Lawrence Fishburne (and Bill Paxton) I have called The Colony (2013) 5.3 star rating 1h 35min | Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller | 20 September 2013 (USA) Groups of people - colonies - are forced underground due to another ice age. Colony 7 goes to check on Colony 5, which they lost contact with. When they get there they find that the colony has fallen and there is a whole new enemy that they have to face on their way back. Here's the international Trailer for it at youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZENI7UC3WQo It wasn't too bad, expecially compared to most of the movies being released lately. |
