I watched it last night, meh.
My rating is more like 3.3 at best.
Bad writing and poor directing.
Michael Jai White's role was very disappointing.
Mark Dacoscus' role was insignificant and a disappointment.
The VA facility was very inaccurate and unrealistic.
An active duty general would not seek counseling at a VA facility.
The terrorists were incompetent and unrealistic.
I recommend VFW (2019) with Stephan Lang, William Sadler, Fred Williamson, Martin Kove & George Wendt. Its 6.1 rating actually fits.

I also watched 3 junk movies not worth listing.

I also watched Meteor (2009) ~ Miniseries on youtube in two parts.

Was a typical superhero flick with pretty much the same effects and situation except dumber. It tries to be funny but comes off as stupid. I rerate it to a 4.1 at best.
Suicide Squad (2016) was better by far but that's not sayin much.
If you want to see a good superhero movie watch Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Its done right and is tenfold better than the theater released version. Even if you have seen the previous version, watch it and you will see how much better the actual movie is to the dumb down version released to the theaters. The 4 hour run time actually goes by pretty quick.

Just watched "Caveat", quite familiar feel to it yet slightly new concepts..."The suicide squad"......funny... slightly touching....that is all. If anybody has any recommendations for a brand new mystery,thriller slow-burn type horror flick im all (eyes) ears.

watched lions for lambs last night.. 3 different stories in one, that were inter woven. as people struggle with the decisions they made.
also watched rebel with out a cause...

Absolutely both good movies!! Been a while since I watched the Jackal. And I didn't know about the alternate endings.

Yes, No Escape is one of these movies I like to watch again every now and then. I love Pierce Brosnan's character in it.
There's another movie with Pierce where he's the Watchmaker. Something with a bomb that has to go off in NYC when the ball drops at NYE. Cannot remember now what it's called and too tired to look it up.
But a great movie for sure! A woman is on to this bombing but no one believes her. So she does it all by herself, hoping to succeed in preventing it.

Oh dang, I looked it up anyway. Called Survivor. Oddly enough has a low rating. I love it!!

Extraction might be a nice one. Not sure if I've seen it.

Ah, makes sense DVD offers that. But then, how different are the endings? Just details or also in one him not making it?

I'd come across it before, never went for it, and that turned out to be a good choice. A very slow moving story, lot of totally unbelievable action that just annoys me.
I clicked through most of it to be honest. Boring and too slow.
Personally I don't get why the rating is relatively high.

yes and no.. to both questions. its basically the final sceen in the court house. but I dont want to give nuttin away.
for a series of movies, with a lot of car chases, and absolutely pointless car crashes.
may I recommend the original gone in 60 seconds, from the 70's??
theres 4 films in the serries.. and it's just stupid fun.
