The 3-parter The Salisbury Poisoning
An factual story. Totally unbelievable. Why would Russia do something like that and risk going back to the Cold War?
And the aftermath: UK expels 23 Russian diplomats, Russia expels 23 UK diplomats. Russia did that with every country that threw out its diplomats, matching the exact nrs.

A number of people that got contaminated with the Novichok that survived are still recovering. Unreal...
It was quite shocking to watch to be honest, esp. learning about how that toxin works.

Wrath of Man is a great movie!
Personally I gave up on GoT as I too found it too hard to follow and after some 2 seasons I just gave up. I couldn't keep track of all the realms, and even after a few seasons kept coming across people that I had no idea of who they were or what they belonged to. In that sense it wasn't very well done.

OT - Watching Equalizer. Always enjoyable!
Couldn't find it at first as I'd searched "Equaliser".

Haven't watched many movies in the last few days.
I did give my son some streaming sites (thanx Crystal) and he was amazed he could watch on his phone too.

The kids wanted monster movies so I played

Come Play (2020)
The Monster (2016)
Dead Space: Downfall (2008)
Phantoms (1998)
The Silence (2019)
Under The Bed (2012)

the oldest ones had to see

The Forever Purge (2021)
Black Widow (2021)
Scarlett (2020)
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)

the grownups watched

Togo (2019)
County Line (2017)
Avatar Extended Collectors Edition (2009)
Army of the Dead (2021)

Most of the time we weren't paying attention to the movies, more background noise than anything else.
I played the horror movies for the kids at night, it was fun to watch their reactions.

They just left this morning for their Florida campsite.
The next batch of grandkids arrive tomorrow morning.
They will be here 6 days or so.

Needless to say, I'm whipped.
I'll probably sleep for a week after everyone goes home.
But, new batch of kids...different movies probably.

I can totally understand being whipped but good you're enjoying it nonetheless!
And glad the sites were helpful!
Good luck with the next batch, hihi.

MiB 3 - 2012
Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Josh Brolin

I so LOVE this one! The 2nd MiB isn't worth watching, 1 was great, but this one is something else entirely! Such a worthy end to the series. And I know there's another one, but without Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones... not the same.

Anywho, this is always a great watch!

Last night I rewatched The Librarian Trilogy in high definition.
I rewatched Transcendence and Cowboys & Aliens in hidef too. Oh, and Lifeforce.
I haven't really been watching many new release movies (letting them build up so I can binge them).
I have been posting some older movies on my forum, most recently in the action/adventure section.
http://ghostown.freeforums.net/board/62/action-adventure-movies
Nearly all of them are older movies tho. I've seen them all so I didn't watch them when I posted them. I put them there for others.

Assault on VA-33 (2021) sp flannery mj white m dacoscus 4.5
Is one newer release I'm anticipating to watch.
400 Bullets (2021) jp ly al potts j warren 4.6 soldier act
Is another.
I have The Suicide Squad (2021) m robbie i elba j cena 7.5 superhero but I'm kinda 'meh' on that. I'll watch it but I ain't expecting much.

Oh, I did watch Blood Red Sky (2021)
A woman with a mysterious illness is forced into action when a group of terrorists attempt to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight. which wasn't too bad for a different kind of vampire movie.

I liked it. Really liked it. But then with only 40-30 mins to go they begin effing it up by going over the top (to my taste). Thank goodness the ending was satisfactory.
It would've/could've been better had they not pushed it over that juicy point of excitement into the gutter.
I guess they thought the senseless blood sucking crap would please the viewer more than a glorious climax, hihi.

Assault on VA-33 - 2021
I liked it! Thanks for mentioning it, Tom!

I do feel it deserves a little more credit than a mere 4,2.

Imagine a drug which two people could take together and they both feel first love.
Imagine an android with emotions which doesn't know it is an android.
Imagine the human programmer and the android fall in love.

Not an action film, not a horror movie, science fiction with love and romance merged.
A brilliant film exploring love and the heartbreak of indecision.
The realization that love surpasses even extreme boundaries.

Slim gym, while watching this I imagined this is the type of film you would love. Watch it and let me know what you thought of it.

I didn't like it, switched it off. I found it boring. Lots of yapping. Maybe it got good later, don't know, but if after 20 - 25 mins still nothing is happening...
