No idea. Very personal as well. Best thing is to do things that are memorable to both.
Meaning not boozing for a week.

I've not been on a honeymoon either.
I think I'd like to visit Rome!

Then again... that's really busy and noisy isn't it... Hmmzz.. I think I'd prefer the Glastonbury area in Somerset instead! Not in Glastonbury itself per say, but that area. And yes, I would want to visit Wearyall Hill again!
But lots of pretty and worthwhile sites in that area :)

If ya wanna find out what someone is really like, take a long trip with them in a small car with no radio.

I guess it depends on where they live and how much money they are prepared to spend... I like Seychelles more than Mauritius, but both are great... Maldive and French Polinesia are in my opinion the absolute best, but more expensive. Bahamas and the caribbean are very nice too and for a relatively low budget for someone living in the states might be more feasible. If they have enough time and money, I would certainly suggest a tour of Australia and at least one week in French Polinesia.
If they like art and history certainly Italy. Venice, Florence and Rome.

The more people you invite to the wedding the more money you have to spend

YES!!
Rather than spending a bunch of money to entertain a 100 or more people, most of whom you don't know well and won't remember their names in a few years....I'd rather save that money, have a small wedding (or go to the courthouse...like my late husband and I did...) and use the money for something more practical...or memorable...*like* a nice trip for a honeymoon...
