Actually -if you want to tell- I'd love to know if you made a good, full recovery?
I've heard it takes time, especially to overcome fatigue. A friend that got it was still not 100% in energy levels after a year. So I'm hoping you did make a good recovery. |

She did just fine, she is far too ornery to be bested by a bug.
My question is, is getting the covid virus the same as being inoculated for it, in terms of protection? I lean that way. |

She did just fine, she is far too ornery to be bested by a bug. My question is, is getting the covid virus the same as being inoculated for it, in terms of protection? I lean that way. From reading and listening to the recent Coronavirus reports here in the UK. My understanding is that the protection gained against the Coronavirus by vaccination, or by having had Coronavirus, is about the same. The experts currently advise they believe the immunity gained by either means lasts at least between 8 to 12 months, maybe longer, and possible booster jabs are being investigated. Good to know she has made a full recovery. |

She did just fine, she is far too ornery to be bested by a bug. My question is, is getting the covid virus the same as being inoculated for it, in terms of protection? I lean that way. Well, from what I've heard from an immunologist is this: from the positively tested a whooping 98% gets very mild symptoms or nothing. The reason for this is that the majority has already been in touch with a variant of this virus BEFORE the pandemic. They know as it has been found before, in donated blood for example from before the pandemic. So I take that to say, yes, your own immune system does the work really well. And as far as I know, if your immune system has been involved naturally it tends to be permanent protection, provided a new virus isn't too different so it isn't recognised. |
