Outside of politic, and religion,
I think many might agree, that 2020...
Well, has been different.

In hindsight, how do you see the year 2020?

As one big joke, FUBAR'd, SNAFU'd ...

For many.

Everything on the news was covid-19 and politics, can't watch it. Became more of an introvert than ever. Worry about money. My father dying. 2020 is crappy. It's not over.

2020 is not a year I will look back on with any form of fondness

At midnight, January 1st, I will tear a 2020 calendar into small pieces. Does this answer the question?

Sounds like a good plan Lars, 2020 sucked!

I think that it's fair to say that, between Brexit and Covid, 2020 has been a lot more stressful than most years.

Aye. I am working New Years Eve, but I will be well home before midnight. My next door neighbors will join me

it's been rough, as many people could agree. For me personally, it's been a very crappy year, aside from the covid...two of my familys animals died, close relative of mine got severely hurt...still don't know her outcome. Hoping next year looks a little better...

A year of more personal growth & learning. My focus has been on healing too.

All in all 2020 has not been a bad year.
Concerning the global situation... the worst is yet to come --> the financial aftermath.
And not sure about the social gap either. Many have become angry, rude and vicious towards others.
That's the bit that concerns me most.

Aside from that I had a good year.

Professionally it has been a very challenging but interesting year for me . New year is a bittersweet time for me ..

Personally ., life has been beautiful .. Sure there have been a few Little speed bumps but nothing that I could not overcome

Personally, a wasted year. Holidays cancelled, unable to travel beyond a few miles from my home for most of the time, not meeting up with friends. Listening to the death toll on the tv, currently the UK is experiencing over 3000 deaths per week from the virus, and it's increasing, worse numbers in the USA. 2020 is a year many will never forget, and many will be glad to see gone, me included.

I love what my hairdresser said about it. She had realised through this situation that the way she and her family had been living for years wasn't at all fulfilling. It was mostly going here, going there, doing things, being busy, rushed, and more stress.
She wouldn't want to go back to living that way anymore. Now she and her husband and kids had grown closer, spent quality time together etc. No longer mindlessly running through life.

She continued to say that she's heard many people say the same thing.

Beautiful! It means many people have awakened and have come to realise that they were in a running wheel and not really happy.

2020 is the year that the British Government was finally able to control the minds and actions of it's citizens, especially those in the North of England who are usually treated as second class citizens compared to the South, especially London and the South East regions!

It's a great awakening year for all living beings, humans, humanity, world, globe, universe (please add yours). It should also be considered as the time to take care each other more and more and more and more..... Ad infinitum  :peace:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Minglers!

Bad things, good things..

Crazy rules and regulations but perseverance none the less..

Still employed, so that is a good thing..

Scarcity of regular house hold items, with some price gouging..

My first grandchild, born healthy.. another good thing..

Overall the big picture is just uncertainty... now and in the future.

However as always.. just keep moving forward.. one foot in front of the other
