Someone will pay for it! Nothing is Free.

I may take it, after I notice how the others get along.

Many fear we will be forced to take it.
And if you don't you for instance don't get health insurance coverage anymore.

I don't want a vaccine. They can have mine and shuv it where the sun don't shine.
I believe in the healing powers of my body, not in a hastily cooked up vaccine.
Nor in the need for a vaccine for this.
Had people been dropping dead in the streets it might have been different. But I don't get the fuss when death rate is 3%.
97% have recovery naturally.

to getting the Vaccine out to regular people ... and not sure if they will charge us ... or not ... for it ...

will you take it an get your children one ... 95% good ...
with no side affects ...
hi mystical .. can I ask what your understanding of 95% efficacy means in relation to Pfizer/biotechs covid vaccine??
Do you know how many people in the trial received a vaccine and how many received a placebo ??
Do you know how long the phase three clinical trial lasted ??
Not sure where you have sourced your information regarding safety and “ no side effects”.... Can I remind you that no vaccine or medication is 100% safe .. as a minimum there is always a risk of allergy which is impossible to predict . . From the information I have read , side effects throughout the trial have been listed as mild to moderate . Perhaps this will be made clearer when the final trial results are released shortly . Keep in mind the technology used in this vaccine is new . Longer term impacts cannot yet be fully understood . (The phase III component of the trial lasted two months. ... Safety and Trial data analysis will likely continue for atleast two years )

You surprise me. I thought you'd be the first in line to get a shot and to tell others to do the same.
Happy to read this is not the case!
Stay safe over there :)

Oh, just out of curiosity... is wearing a face mask compulsory in NZ or going to be soonish?
Just wondering what the NZ policy is in this.

hi crystal .. I am full of surprises laugh laugh but you may have missed my subsequent post where I said I would have the covid vaccine once I am happy with the scientific safety data .

My job is not to tell others what to do ., is to inform and advocate .

It is always important to know the benefits , side effects , interactions , consequences and alternatives for any treatment to make an informed decision .

I respect a person’s right to decline treatment. Unfortunately when it comes to public health the government can mandate vaccination .. I do not believe that will be necessary in my country .

With respect to the death rate .. although covid has been with us for nearly a year it is still in its infancy . We do not know it’s full potential . We still do not know it’s source . It’s ability to infect and mutate remains a concern . The potential exists that it could become more dangerous .. likewise it could become weaker and less harmful . There is so much we still do not know . Personally I would favour the precautionary approach .

As far as face masks the government recently passed a mandate that masks must be worn on public transport .., here is the link

While the reported effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine is 95% there are other factors people should consider since the recovery rate is reportedly higher.
Personally I need to do more investigating into the trials b4 making a decision.
I won't be using the S.W.A.G methodology to make a determination as to whether or not to get ONE of the several vaccines that are near to being approved.

This is a must watch. The whole interview is stellar but the vaccine discussion is about halfway through. Of especially interesting note is the mention of how even “unrushed” vaccines prior to Covid-19 are not studied using a placebo control group - the control group is another vaccine.

I didn't realize that the Pfizer study had 43,661 volunteers.

I found these study results interesting I read in an article.

1)"Of the 170 cases of Covid-19 Pfizer observed in its trial, 162 occurred in the placebo group and just eight among the group that got its two-dose vaccine. Of the 10 cases of severe Covid-19, nine were in the placebo group, an important finding which suggests the vaccine prevents not only mild cases, but the type of serious disease that leads patients to die or be hospitalized."

2)"The only severe side effects to occur in more than 2% of people were fatigue, which occurred in 3.7% of patients after the second dose, and headache, which occurred in 2%. Older adults had fewer and milder side effects than younger participants."

I will continue to collect more info especially now that the UK has approve use of the Pfizer vaccine.

Hi johnwaving I have been busy with work so still haven’t seen the full trial data .. Research results can be misleading ..
there appears to be a difference in UK approval regulations vs the American FDA ., will be interested to see what comes of an independent analysis .

Hi Blondeywaving
Yes there is a big difference between the FDA here and most other developed countries. My sister is an oncology nurse and she told me that the FDA DOESN'T accept and use clinical studies from ANY other country. She said that even after approval and successful usage of chemo and drugs for cancer treatment in other countries the FDA STILL conducts it's own clinical trials from scratch. I think because of parallel studies globally that most developed countries are close to being on the same track with covid.

But there are problems in other countries as well. She had a patient that was in remission when her husband accepted a transfer to the UK. When the woman's cancer recurred they moved back to the United States because the UK heath system didn't allow her to be treated with a drug that wasn't approved because of the cost.

IMO bureaucrats in general are missing the dominant gene for logic, pragmatism and what I now call UN-common sense.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've never had the flu, or other flu like symptoms. I hope my record continues. I've certainly been around it and had contact with it I figure. I hope I continue to stay frosty.

Closest I've had to it is septic wounds that have given me a high temperature, or bad foods that have made me quite sick long ago.

No reason for me to take it so far. It might make me bad sick I think.

Or hell... they'll just look at me and shoot me on sight, because I have nuclear flavored boubonic ebola, with a side of purple gangrenous grape flavored Aids that I picked up from Antarctica last week. oh, and I'm one ugly mutha-fu-oops...

Also, Juicing, Nutri-bullet, and excellent Nutrition will help you NOT get it. Cranberries, and dark leafy greens, seem to be a major benefactor to keeping one more immune, and if caught, healing quicker, from the doctors I have talked to.

I understand ... what you are saying ...I am very skeptical also ... not to scare anyone ...I heard a few died in the triales ... something maybe you can answer more that I do not get ... ok some top officials got the virus and they where hospitalized ... and seemed to come out free and clear from it ... least thats the way they made it seem ...and I also heard another co ... will come out with another vaccine ... not sure of the difference... but for those who had this will they have to get the vaccine or was that given to them while they where in the hospital ... to make them free and clear just wonder if was the same medicine or something differnt they got... their are a few in leadership that said they trusted this credible Doctor ...an will get it in front of the cameras to show they trust it ... and he him self will get it also ... I would hope by that time if those do not want it ... they still stay vigilant with masks distance and washing their hands... tcbs
